This product is by far my favorite Amazon purchase! The ease of screwing into the ground was mind blowing! The tool provided makes it incredibly easy. But still very strudy! This holder is strong enough to hold my clothes line pole with no movement. In fact I just ordered another one for my patio umbrella! Absolutely love this!

I purchased my first ground screw back in April, 2021 and loved it. It has held up incredibly well, flying a 12x12x12 triangle sun sail over my raised garden. I get strong winds out here too, almost tornado-like 😬 Sooo, I naturally bought a set (2) February, 2022 to fly a 12x16 foot rectangular sun sail off my back patio. Tip: screw the sucker all the way in. It's difficult, but you gotta do it for it to hold. I had a neighbor help with the final twists.

We bought a nice flag pole and followed the instructions for the ground mount. After we installed it we had a couple windy days. The flag pole was leaning bad. So I ordered this screw in ground mount. Awesome!!!

I built a custom $125k pool and these are one of my favorite things about the whole yard. I lined the West side of the pool with these in ground umbrella holders. When not in use they are hidden with covers that blend with the turf. This also prevents trip hazards.Installing and removing the umbrellas takes SECONDS! No unwieldy and heavy umbrellas stands that you stub your foot on, trip over and STILL doesn’t keep your umbrellas from blowing over in the wind.These have a key that secure the umbrellas in the holder giving extra protection against the wind. I never have to worry about them falling over like would happen with an above ground stand.I’m going to buy a few more to install them on the South side of the pool for some added sun shade from that side in the mornings.Guests with pools are very jealous of my unique umbrella/shade solution. I’ve never seen anyone else do this.

I needed this anchor for an awning I planned for a sitting area in my yard. I planned to use 1.25" EMT steel tubing for the pole to support one corner of the awning. I knew that the anchor only comes with one adjustment/tension screw on one side, so I drilled out the other side and welded a nut there so I would have equal force on each side to hold the EMT pole steady. The other reviews are correct about the plastic caps - they are not capable of holding a pole in place - they really only work as a cap, which worked for me. The biggest issue I have with this giant screw is that unless you have soft dirt beneath your feet, it will not screw into the ground. The soil here in N. California during the summer is HARD. When you try to screw into hard ground, the threads on the screw just churn up the soil and the screw cannot dig in and make its way into the soil. I ended up cutting off the screw threads and pounding it into the ground with a sledgehammer and a block of wood. It's a poor design as-is, but if you can alter it to fit your environment, it can be made to work.

Very easy to install and will hold any size umbrella firmly in soft or hard ground. This is exactly what I was looking for at a great price
