Cute Skirt but ugly bait n switch top
The skirt (aka the good bit): Skirt is as pictured and very cute. Obviously not super high quality fabric, but doesn’t feel cheap. Fits well. The top (aka the bad bit): So to start, the top is not made of the material on the model. On closer inspection of the pictures I see that there is a picture of the actual fabric it’s made out of laying flat (where the difference from the model photo is less obvious) which seems really duplicitous to me. Other than it being different, it’s ugly as sin. It’s not long enough, or able to tie tight enough to stop the top riding up, the fabric is completely sheer in a really ugly way and very stretchy which is at odds with the tartan fabric (which has zero stretch). Should you buy this: if you really want the skirt, go for it. If you’re after the set, don’t bother. I’m gonna keep a hold of it, and maybe try and remake the top with better fabric (because the skirt is really cute). Just giving one star because as much as I like the skirt the top is such a let down and the bait and switch seems to be a deliberate choice on behalf of the seller.
