Really good cage cheap better than any in store. These cages are like the only good cages for guinea pigs ever. I've got two of these, they can be easily placed together cause of the side doors.The top is not really nessasary unless you have cats as well. If you want you can place cardboard over the ramps to prevent guinea pig feet from getting stuck. Get a table or something similar to place these on. Guinea pig need a surprising amount of space as they like to run and need a freind as well. I have two boys and I got them one of these cages when they were babies. They are older now and I have two of them connected. When they got older they starting getting annoying with eachother, kinda fighting(no blood or anything serious) and I knew they needed a bigger cage so I got another one. Also bigger thr cage less cleaning!

I have a large male hedgehog. Before this cage, he was in a larger plastic bin that I had converted into a cage. The bin was big enough for him and he was happy. He ended up getting very sick to the point where I thought I was going to lose him. Aside from slowly nursing him back to health, I thought it might help his recovery or if anything help to alleviate some of the discomfort he was experiencing and give him a comfortable place with extra space in case it was his time to move on.Some of the reviews mentioned difficulties assembling the cage. I actually just had to disassemble it and re-assemble it last week and it seems straightforward. Figure out the square shape of the cage while on top of the bottom material which I spread out into a square shape. Hook the cage together (you’ll see where to hook it together). Then once you have it in a square on top of the bottom material in the same shape, just start hitching up the velcro by wrapping the pieces sewn on to the bottom material through the spaces in the cage and securely fastened and anchored on to the bars lower down on the cage that run horizontally across. That’s it.I utilized the extra space to attach an extra no-drip water bottle to the side of the cage for him. There was one time when the water spilled out completely from the normal bottle we use. Only an hour or so had passed before we noticed it, but my hedgehog needed to get well and remain healthy so I wanted to make sure there was always a full water bottle for him that didn’t drip.Shortly before I purchased this cage I honestly didn’t think he’d make it to Thanksgiving and I was quite sad about it. Well, somehow he made it to Thanksgiving. His little hedgehog birthday is on Christmas Eve and so I bought the cage as sort of an early birthday/Christmas present for him. Hoping to boost morale even more.It is almost Valentine’s Day and I can’t describe how it feels to hear him crunching away on his solid food again in his big, open, clean, cage. I thought he would never run on his wheel again, but sure enough I can sometimes hear him at 3 AM in his big spacious cage scurrying about from his hide, to his food dish, to the water bottle, then to HIS WHEEL! *pitter **patter***pitter **patter*I have no doubt that this cage made him happier and therefore helped him recover faster.I was a bit worried he might be able to chew or scratch through the floor, but he cant. He gets aggressive with his play biting sometimes and he cant get through the bottom material at all. Not even close. I can’t say anything for other four-legged creatures, but my hedgehog can go into tank make and really thoroughly trash his cage. Especially after I clean it. But when the dust settles all he managed to wreck were some of his paper towels. It passes that chew/scratch proof test for my hedgehog.If you are thinking your animal could use more room, I really do encourage you to get it for them. They’re going to be in it all day so why not offer them the extra space this cage provides? I also would encourage you to get a backup drip proof water bottle. You don’t have to refill it as often and it really can make a difference between life and death if something happens to their main bottle. I really like the peace of mind of knowing he has a full bottle no matter what.And honestly, this cage is a breeze to clean. You can dissemble it, then carefully drag the bottom material in a fairly sturdy fold/taco shape outside and then shake out the loose bits of food and other presents the hedgehog may have left for you. Shake those out too. Away form the house preferably. A little bit farther. You’re good.When it is clean and sometimes hosed down depending on the caliber of presents that had been left for me, I will then lay down some larger puppy training pads to line the entire bottom of the cage. With some extras under HIS WHEEL 🦔Then I cover it with some fleece. Doesn’t have to be perfect. Just some extra fleece blankets with hedgehogs printed on them. More room more blankets.In all honesty, I am beyond grateful for being able to purchase this cage when I did and have it delivered quickly. Again, get an extra backup bottle, and if you’re pet rodent, insectivore, or whatever pet you have is a little bit okder... if your pet is advancing in age, I do encourage you to get this for them. You love them. They may or may not love you at times, but it is worth it and I doubt you’ll regret it when you see them happily running around in the extra space. They will appreciate you for it in some way or another.

So I got this cage for my very first two guinea pigs. I have two girls, so this worked out great. But since they're still growing, I decided to upgrade to a bigger cage very soon after getting this one. I do plan on using this cage for when I get a third as well (at least for the introduction stage.) It's more than enough space for one guinea pig and super easy to clean! The cage itself is a bit on the flimsier side, so definitely use zip ties and keep it somewhere stable or on the floor.Aside from that, the cage arrived on time and in good condition as well!

We have had this cage for a couple months now and overall, we really like it. We like that the cage is divided allowing bedding, food/water, and bathroom on one side, while the other is for play/sleep. Of course that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few stray pellets on the other side. But, our piggies are good about keeping it on one side. And since we have a cat, we love that the cage has a top to protect them just in case.A couple negatives (which wouldn’t stop me from buying again) are, the cage is a little flimsy. It hooks together and there are hook areas that aren’t as stable as I wish they would be, we also had some breakage where the hook meets the connection. It can be a little cumbersome putting the cage back together after cleaning, but my kids are able to manage on their own. The liner is great as far as thickness and protecting the surface of the table that the cage is on, however it does stain easily.Overall, we are very happy with this cage and would purchase again.

After learning how much hedgehogs move around at nighttime, I knew I needed a bigger cage. I purchased the 48X24 with the divider, top, liner, and divider liner. This has been the easiest cage to assemble, clean, and move around. Since purchasing I have acquired another hedgehog and there is still plenty of room for both to move around and explore. The quality of the liners are phenomenal. I absolutely love this cage and plan to purchase a second in the future so they have even more room to play!

I got this cage for my piggie, this cage is perfect for 1 guinea pig. You can most defiantly buy 2 of them and connect them if you have 2 males or 1 male and 1 female. Assembling the cage was a little difficult at first after reading the instructions again it was a better understanding. There is a little barrier for a play area and a food area, which I love for cleaning purposes. Again I would like this cage for 1 guinea, not so much 2 of them.

Bought this as a brooder for 9 chicks. 6 weeks in and they still fit just fine, but are starting to get cramped. That's ok, they're going outside soon. Super easy to clean. Be forewarned though, if they're less than a week old or bantam breeds, they can fit through the bars. We just threaded newspaper strips through the wires and it kept them safe and sound.

Much roomier than the traditional pet store guinea pig cage. It gave our little girl quite a bit more room to play. It was not the easiest to clean. It is slightly rickety, we had ours on a large table but I think it would work better on the floor.

Loved the size. Fits perfectly for my 2 piggies.As other reviewers said, the canvas itself is an issue as the piggies have started staining them and chewing off them although i usually had a fleece and pee pads. Especially worse so on the ramp sides, likely one day the canvas on the ramp may be entirely eaten up by them lol.Aside, liked that it is open top, spacious and generally easy to build and maintain. Material seems to be durable as well. Hopefully it does not rust as easy. A little tad expensive though compared to other diy c&c cages.

This is the best cage ever! A very reasonable price also. I have no idea why I didn't get one of these from the get go of owning guinea pigs. My piggies are so much more happier now, and there is so much more room for accessories and toys. I love that the cage is expandable also so you can add on if you want more guinea pigs. It is so much easier for me to keep clean making my darlings so much more happier. I line the cage with puppy pee pads and then the pink blanket on top. All i have to do in a full cage clean is wipe down the green liner. Replace pee pads and change the blanket. I already clean up poops twice a day. And full clean weekly. So much easier than having to take a whole bottom of a cage apart and emptying somewhere else. But nothing leaks onto the green liner anyway.There is another amazon review on here that someone mentions the cage is flimsy. That is NOT the case. The cage basically comes assembled already, you just have to attach one corner and then put the lining on the bottom which is done with velcro straps on edges. And then the lid onto the top. There are metal clips to keep the top on.)My blankets on top are only there as nights have been cold. It comes off during the day time. I recommend this cage highly. You can also purchase a replacement liner (green part) separate But i don't think i will have to in a long time.My first pic I is the whole cage, the second pic is the clips that go all the way around the top, the third pic is the Velcro straps that the green liner is attached to the cage with, and the Fourth pic is the opening of which you can expand your cage or you can open it if you let your piggies run freely.

Por equivocacion pedi solo la lona, pero es de muy buena calidad y no me arrepiento ya que consegui las rejillas y quedo muy bien sujeta la lona, si lo recomiendo es una buena inversion para el espacio de un cuyito.

Spacious cage for guinea pigs to zoom around! Cage is easy to clean with the waterproof liner, though pee stains can sometimes be very stubborn to remove. Otherwise, my piggies are happy!!
