What width is the nozzle at the front? I have a diffuser which only fits nozzles that are between 4.1-4.8 cm wide.

I wouldn't describe it as light...but it is certainly not the heaviest dryer and I have found it an very good dryer. If weight is a real problem however, you may wish to try a travel hair dryer as these tend to be lighter.

It has a low noise feature, would you say it's effective?

It does drop in sound at a lower speed...but not noisy anyway. It is a great dryer though and would definitely recommend
