6mm wide, tungsten carbide ring (Comfort fit) with inlay of blue and slight green flash Synthetic precious opal. A truly unique ring that is only available from BC Marketplace. The tungsten carbide ring has inlays of Synthetic precious opal that show a play of colors from blue to green with a hint of yellow. Our Man Made (Synthetic) Precious opal is made in Japan by Kyocera and many people say its beauty matches the beauty of natural precious opal. Kyocera opal (Kyoto Opal) is impregnated in a resin that makes the opal often much more durable than naturally occurring opal. Synthetic Precious Opal shows fire in different ways when viewed in different lighting and when viewed from different directions. If you have never seen Kyoto Opal in person you are in for a treat. Kyoto Opal is our specialty. By customers request and questions about what color is what model number I also have a picture attached that shows the model numbers of each ring. This has helped clarify many questions from customers about orders and styles from customers

Outstanding Ring!
Gorgeous colors in this ring; the pictures don't do it justice. This is my second time ordering a tungsten carbide ring and I am very impressed with the look and feel. I was able to get a Size 5 for my ring finger and it definitely has a comfort fit. seller is incredible, too. Shipping was very fast and dependable. I purchased another color from the same seller only it is white synthetic opal with all the colors of a rainbow. I love it, too, but this ring actually has interesting coloring with flecks of red and yellow. Any way you choose you can't go wrong with any of this seller's tungsten carbide rings. They are all so gorgeous. Thanks!

I love it very much
I am a Japanese and I am familiar with Japanese companies, but I didn't know this synthetic "Kyoto Opal", which is made by Kyocera, basically recognized as a technology company. The color is exactly the same as shown in the picture. The color is mixing shinny blue-green (half and half) but it shows different coloring in the different lighting situation. I love it very much. I am thinking of purchasing the blue one.

Attention grabber
I just wanted a ring that I could wear to work. I work in a lab and rip gloves on and off many many many times during the day. My engagement ring has raised diamonds that caught on the gloves. In order to avoid a very expensive glove change I started looking for something that was as much fun as my diamond ring, but also something that I wouldn't be heartbroken to lose at work. I love this ring! It is so sparkly and beautiful. The blue and green opal inlays are always getting people's attention. My mother and sister keep dropping hints so I may just be getting them one too. The shipping is fast and people are amazed by how little I paid for this ring!

nice ring
This ring looks fantastic and feels nice on my finger and fits perfect. I would have liked if the edges on the outside were a bit smoother, but I'm getting used to it quickly, and it is as pictured.EDIT: Well, its been a month or so and some of the opal has already fallen out. I'm not going to remove any stars because I'm not exactly gentle with my rings so its probably my own fault. But buyers beware, this ring isn't as durable as other tungsten rings!

Love yet missing
I still love this ring 7 years later, it has missing pieces though. My husband’s lost more working on pools. He has to turn to silicone ones for work, those saves his finger from being torn off. Everyone still loves it and the missing stones are usually on my palm side.

Ring looks amazing, my partner gets so many compliments on it
Ring looks amazing, my partner gets so many compliments on it. The blues are very pronounced and it sparkles like none other when in proper lighting. It is also very durble, not a scratch in the year and a half he has had it.

Kaleidescope of turquoise
The color is very impressive with a true kaleidescope of mostly turquoise shades, The sizing is true, and perhaps a tad generous. There are a few things to note, though. Comfort fit rings like this one all tend to be a bit thick bodied and this is no exception. If you prefer a close fitting flat ring that can't be felt between the fingers, stick with a traditional setting. Also, there are future considerations, such as how will the ring age? Opal is a delicate stone and it is set all around the ring. I will keep an eye on the ring to see if the stone scratches with use, especially when I have to grab something (like a subway pole for balance). As it stands now, I take it off when I have to put my hands in water; but that should be another consideration and opportunity for abuse of the ring and stone. The tungsten should be able to take it, but again, consideration should be given to care for the opal stones as water may eventually work its way underneath them and either loosen them or cause fading or cracking. If one is willing to treat the ring with care keeping all this in mind, it should be an attention grabber for a long time to come.I think I will be ordering another one sometime soon - as soon as I can decide on what color I want.

This is my second ring ordered, you will not be disappointed!
Rex, the seller was VERY helpful! There were several emails exchanged between us about various sizes, colors, etc. This is my second ring purchased from them, this one being for my mom for her birthday. She loves it! It's very smooth sliding on and off the finger and of a substantial weight/quality that is true to size. The opal is absolutely radiant! The blue-green color I ordered for mom almost glows it's so luminous! I can highly recommend these rings. You will NOT be disappointed!
