Has a strong adhesive sticker on it to affix to car. Mine is still on because the adhesive they use is super strong plus the eagle comes off (and the stand doesn't)when you want to get a car wash . Great purchase and looks great !

After you installed it, could it be easily taken off later on?

You can take it off, But depending on what kind of surface you put it on it may pull up the paint or finish. It has a sticky adhesive pad. Hope this helps you.

What is the screw size / thread

Its not a screw, its stick tape, that that which is used to hang stuff on walls.
