Saved getting a joiner in
These are a great idea as we fit bathrooms and quite often come across rotten joists ends under baths and showers. These are thick steel plates which are probably stronger than the original wood! Make sure you order the right size. Support the ceiling underneath. Cut the rotten end (plus a bit) off the joist and slide the 2 halves of the metal plate into place. Bolt to the good wood. Job done!
