My cute little 3.5lbs chihuahua has been driving me insane with her incessant barking for 5 years! She barks at the rustling of a palm frond, at the squeak of a tennis shoe, at my neighbors parked car, when I leave the room... this girl really doesn't need a good reason, she just loves to bark and she does it with a smile on her face. Well now I have the smile on my face. I put this tiny little device on her and she stops barking almost immediately. The only thing I'm asking myself is why did I wait so long?! I could have slept in until 6am. I plan to buy a another one so I always have one fully charged for her. This is money well spent! Don't hesitate to get this, in fact I suggest you buy two and save your sanity. Here's a cute picture of her when she's not barking.

Wow it worked in a day! The unit is packed like you are getting the Hope Diamond or something. I hope these batteries last a long time because they are a weird size for sure. We put this on out long-haired chihuahua and at first it looked too big, like an anchor or medicine ball. And the dog is so tiny that I had to cut off most of the collar material. Once customized, we were off.We put the collar on the little yapper and after a bark or two we heard the "beeeeep" of the collar. The dog started searching for the beep. It was too funny. It was more the distraction that did the work. After about a dozen barks he was silent. And really curious.The next day the collar was fraying since I neglected to burn the end I had cut from. I took the collar off and 6 hours later the barking started again, slowly at first then more so. So back on goes the collar, and the barking stops.I have had shock collars for other dogs, they are cruel and you don't want to test them. I was so ready for a shock collar, anything for the silence! But this one worked, and is very light and simple. Finally, we slept in the next day!

We have owned this collar for over a month and as a happy customer, I am updating my review to reflect our experience. Very happy with this dog barking collar made for small dogs. We have a Chihuahua, who has always been a very yappy dog and barks at everything and everyone. Last year we moved into our new home and that was when the problem got even worse. We hoped things would calm down after she got used to the new environment but, it never did. We did purchase a training clicker, a few whistles and books but, none of them worked. We would not dream of using a shock collar on her, or anything that we would consider inhumane.I was purchasing toys for my cats and items for my birds when I came across this barking collar, did some research on it, and read all the reviews for this collar and the other collars offered by this company. This one seemed to be the best fit for her since she is very small. My husband really liked the idea of this collar so, off it went into my cart.When it arrived, it came in a tin round box, along with a user manual placed on a key that you insert into your computer. There are several videos explaining how to use this barking collar. I also searched YouTube for videos other customers had made on this item, and found them to be informative. I charged the barking collar and fit the strap to size. The remainder strap I cut and then burned the ends to it would not fray. I was very happy that I could get a perfect fit because, her neck is so small. Then, I let her wear it for a day to get used to it.After the first day is when I turned on the barking collar. There is on button and a “S” button for sensitivity, which I started off at the lowest setting at first. I have since moved it to the right setting. The first time she barked the barking collar beeped and she ran under the table. Afterwards, she came out and looked around to see what happened. Later, she barked again and the same thing happened, the collar beeped, and she ran under the table. This went on for a day. During the first week, she would bark and the collar would beep, then she would hide. I think she started to finally figure out by the end of the week that when she barked, the collar beeped. By the second week, her barking was to a minimum. The third week, she rarely barked. By week four, is when the barking stopped entirely.As a stay at home mom, I don’t have time to go shopping and do almost all my shopping on Amazon. That being said, UPS comes to my door every day with packages along with the post office. Now, when the doorbell rings, she just looks at the door, whereas before she would run to the door, barking the whole way there. Our regular UPS driver and mail lady thought we no longer had a dog. LOL!At night, when we go to bed is when I remove the collar. She sleeps with us and the cats and her barking has never been an issue during this time. First thing in the morning is when I put the collar back on. This collar has really helped us with our barking dog and it did take time, it was not over night. Glad we purchased this barking collar and would recommend this item to other small dog owners. I would also suggest viewing videos on YouTube that other customers have made, that is how I learned a lot about this product.

I am not one to normally write reviews about products; however, I felt obliged to give this collar a stellar review. I have a 12 year old male Chihuahua how is the best dog in the world when he is alone with me. As soon as a doorbell goes off, doorman buzzer or a stranger stops by....he has the most annoying bark and nothing would stop him from barking. He will hide so I can't catch him to hold him and calm him and continue to bark. I have put up with this for years and I can control him by asking people to not ring the doorbell, etc. The last straw was my mom watching him and he barked all day because she had a friend over. Years ago, I tried at citronella bark collar, but it was too large and heavy for his small neck. I followed the online instructions to set up the collar and rang the door bell. My dog barked three times and then the vibration went off and he stopped right away. I am only one day into having the collar, but if it continues to work as good as day one....this will be a lifesaver and best purchase in a long time. My dog also seems relieved as if he no longer has to be the barking security guard and can go do something else. Just for reference my dog is 4 pounds and has a small neck and the collar fits him fine.

Helps but my Yorkie is confused by it.

Started working the first day! Just the tone is enough to stop the incessant barking. Even if he gets to the final tone, it buzzes like a cell phone and gets his attention.Perfect and my little guy is a 3 pound chi. No shock, no pain.
