Here are the pro & cons breakdown:Pro: good for the environmentCons:1. Thick - even though these are advertised to have both side for cleaning make up & toner. But even the toner side was too thick and absorbed the liquid too fast, very wasteful.2. Very hard to clean for it's intended purpose. I washes these immediate after use, soaked in detergent for hrs. Washed by hands then by machine, still not clean. I'm guessing it's clean, just stain? but I can't get myself to use it on my face again.3. I understand it's advertised as bamboo cotton, but don't mistake that for being more premium or better/softer/organic fabric created for the intended purposes of the product, it's just regular cheap cotton fabric. So atm it's highly overprice.While I appreciate the initiative of the product, I think the product need some more (like a lot more) development. While I love saving earth, this one item is one I cannot move to use.

Love these. I got so tired of using three cotton rounds per day and seeing the trash fill up, plus needing to buy them so often. These are not quite as thorough in picking up makeup, but with some patience and rinsing, they do a great job plus stimulate/exfoliate the skin. I use one at night to remove eye makeup (cetaphil eye makeup remover) with one side, then flip and use micellar water to take off most of my makeup with the other side (Shea naturals coconut oil micellar water.) I rinse the pad out and throw it in the laundry bag, then I wash my face in the shower with cleanser. In the morning I use another pad with toner (rodan and fields brightening) to remove PM products and prepare my face for serum and sunscreen. Once a week I throw the bag with the used (rinsed) pads in the wash. They are not white anymore but they still work fine. They have already paid for themselves. I am buying these for my girlfriends for the holidays. It’s a great product both for the environment and for my skin!

I have been looking for a great, greener alternative to cotton pads. These are so soft and easy to use.Update: 5 months into using this product and you can’t tell. They are still white and fluffy despite using them to remove makeup. :)

I purchased these reuseable bamboo cotton rounds because I'm trying to move away from single-use products like disposable cotton rounds. First impressions of these rounds: very soft and feel very durable. I think they will hold up well, and their absorbency might increase with use. Re absorbency: they are absorbent, but not quickly absorbing; I use mine for facial serums and toners, but you have to just give the round a minute to absorb the product. If you apply too much, it will roll off the round.The other amazing perk is that this comes with two reusable baggies: a storage baggie and a laundry baggie. I think these are worth the money and will become an invaluable staple in my makeup collection as I get used to them. Seems really good quality and the customer service (I received an email from the vendor after purchasing) seems really great.

I like how soft and fluffy these become after washing. One side is a little more abrasive than the other, so I use it for toner and getting a mild exfoliating experience when I swipe it over my face. They're large and thick enough that I can put a little eye makeup remover on the other, less saturated side. One thing I noticed is because they are thicker than regular cotton rounds, I have to use more toner to saturate the pad. Not a huge issue but something to keep in mind if you purchase expensive toners.

I was looking for a more eco friendly option to replace the disposable cotton rounds which are oh so bad for the environment, so off to Amazon I went. These are sooo great! They come with a cute little bag to store the clean ones in and a small laundry bag to put the dirty ones in so you can throw them into the washing machine with a regular load. The actual quality of the rounds are exceptional. The stitching is excellent and it makes them super sturdy. I've had mine for over a month and I've washed them twice already. There's no piling or threads coming undone. I definitely recommend these to anyone who uses cotton rounds. They're so much softer and plush and you won't regret your purchase!

Ive bought four different sets and these are my favorite. The pad is thick so it isnt floppy when you use it and it doesnt wrinkle after being washed. It has a really soft and a slight rougher side for when I want different textures for my application. It soaks up my toner fast enough that it doesn't drip off the pad, but on the other hand (the one downside) is that because it's thick I do feel it requires more toner than usual.

Excellent set of reusable make up pads! The included pouch and laundry bag were the biggest selling points for me, makes it easy to travel with as much or as little as I need for a trip.The pads themselves, so soft! I dabbed a little bit of coconut oil on them to remove tested water proof mascara and eyeliner, not a single trace of the make up was left.
