Best battery used I have mine hardwired so has fast change which seems to charge in 30mins depending on your usage, definitely recommend if you have a BlackVue dashcam lasts about 24hrs depending on usage

Just ordered one of these Blackvue cameras which arrived by return this week ... excellent. Easy instructions to follow and camera works well.Just one problem ... ?The message that came with the camera from 'Smart TV Guy UK' part of which says ..."If you need any technical assistance in the future please contact us and we will resolve asap as we offer full technical support for this item. If any problems occur please contact me asap"Any chance we could communicate as there are a couple of technical questions I have and are not covered in the manual ? 'Smart TV Guy UK' you have 'no contact us' details nor web site. ?Three stars only at this time till I can resolve communication problems ...

As new. Arrived in original packaging. Fast delivery, excellent!

Firstly as for the battery it's great. In the box you'll get the cabling for hardwiring the battery to the car or the cable that plugs into the cigarette lighter. There’s also a few other bits and pieces including two Velcro strips to securely attach the battery to the floor of the car. I’ve place mine under the driver’s seat. For a 30-40 minute drive and it charging through the cigarette lighter I get about a 40% charge, if it was hardwired it would be 100%.I plug the battery into the cigarette lighter and the dashcam into the battery and it provides juice on a full battery for about 25 hours and I have a dual dashcam setup. There’s a switch on the front of the battery for switching it off or provide power from the hardwiring setup or cigarette lighter when the cars engines is on. When the car is off, the power is solely supplied by the battery, so this is great when the dashcam is left in parking mode. The mobile app connects to the battery flawlessly and provides real-time stats on how much power is being consumed to how much percentage of battery is left with the number of hours left to power the dashcam.So overall this is a great product and much safer than a USB battery pack that can easily overheat. The reason for four stars are the product is expensive, but the battery tech in it is much safer and durable than a cheap USB battery pack. Also I’ve had a number of issues with buying a battery from Amazon. The one I’m reviewing is a replacement, to the original one they sent which was an open box with no power leads in it. The battery was also badly marked like it had been used. I phoned Amazon explaining this and a replacement was ordered, however I needed to return the battery back to Amazon.It’s so far taken 3 weeks of me running around trying to get a courier to pick the battery up, which they won’t as it’s a prohibited item. Amazon on the phone try to work with me on this, but every email I get from them is please return it back by a courier. I won’t go too much further into this as it’s been a nightmare, but beware if you buy a battery and need to return it, best of luck as Amazon are not going to help much. They finally asked me to contact Hazmat Logistics, who have never been contacted by Amazon and the price for a pick-up is £170. I’m still waiting to find out if Amazon will just let me take it to a recycling centre and have done with it.

good camera fast delivery

Poor value, died within 12 month. Fairly easy to install, charges fast, good battery life. Fortunately this stopped working within warranty period so was able to return for a full refund. There are not many products like this on the market and it is expensive to buy. If it lasted a reasonable amount of time ie 3 years it would be OK but less than 12 months is ridiculous. I'll probably end up buying the same product again but at least my 12 month warranty will start again which wouldn't be the case if it was just replaced.

Firstly I’m referring to the battery pack not the cameras, I DO NOT own this battery pack.The first version of the BlackVue battery was a very overpriced, very poor quality product, the poor quality sockets and thin flimsy leads were a disgrace for the price.This battery is an improvement but yet again it’s substantially overpriced.For ease of instalation a very good alternative is the “Ridgemonkey vault battery packs” which have a 12v cigar lighter socket so you can plug in the camera power lead directly, you can also charge it from the car using an inverter and the supplied power adapter as I do while driving for extended protection time away from the car, they are also cheaper.

It was suprisingly easy to set up and the lead provided allowed me to easily route it round to the rear view mirrow without any issues
