Good Flavor for Low Fat Diet But Needs To Be in Bigger Packages...
Years ago I used Kraft Fat Free Mayo when I was really watching my fat intake and found that it worked well on sandwiches and to make things like egg salad and chicken salad while reducing fat. While it doesn't taste exactly like Mayo, it really does taste better than any of the others that were available at that time (and now are not available at all).Fast forward and I found that I need to reduce my fat once again. I went looking for fat free foods but with the Keto and Adkins type diets in vogue right now, people are not eating fat free foods anymore and I really prefer to keep my diet more "real" as well.I was happy to find these packets which are easy to take and store in my desk for sandwiches.Unfortunately, Kraft no longer packages it's fat free mayo in jars so if I want to make egg salad or chicken salad, I have to open a lot of little packages to get the amount that I need for my recipe, but any port in a storm as they say.I think the flavor is quite acceptable and the texture is pretty close when on a sandwich or in a salad. This is not good for cooking as it has no fat and thus does not achieve the desired results in baked goods but it does work well for coating chicken to hold the cornflakes and herbs on the chicken for a nice crispy "fried" crust in the oven or air fryer. It's a good alternative if you really need to cut back on fat but I really wish they would package it in at least pint containers.

Great Boon to Dieters!
I was disappointed when Kraft discontinued their jars of fat-free mayo, but you can still get it in packet form. Works great for use at home or on the road, and the taste rivals the brands with full fat. I even make fat free tartar sauce with it, adding a little lemon juice and capers or dill relish.

Utterly convenient
These little packets are sooooo convenient. I don't work anymore because I'm disabled, but I do have to get driven to appointments and I try to pull everything together on the days I have a driver. So I usually pack bread in one bag, tomato and lettuce in another, and meat and cheese in a third. Two of these little packets go with the sandwich assembly, and when it's time, I have mayo right there, not in a big bulky bottle, but in a tidy little packet that delivers 1/2 as much mayo as I like on a sandwich, but they come in such a huge quantity that it doesn't matter to me. Try them. They almost help you make your sandwich!

How to identify the expiration date
When I received my box of Kraft fat free mayonnaise packets I immediately checked the individual packets for an expiration date and there was none. I then looked on the box and found a UPC code and another code with 7 alpha-numeric characters (ex: 08M07C0). I called Kraft Foods and was told the code next to the UPC code was the expiration date. Using the code on my box as an example (08M07C0), the code reads as MM(letter)DD(letter)Y. This translates to August 7, 2010. I asked about the letters in the code and was told they have nothing to do with the manufacturing date. Kraft Foods also said these packets have a Shelf Life of 5 months only. So my box was manufactured on 08/07/10 and expires on 01/07/11. Kraft Foods did not recommend using the packets after the expiration date. I would like to see Amazon list the expiration date of their stock so you know how much useful life is left to a grocery item. Maybe they could create a link on the page that you could click on and have the expiration date displayed.

Great Value, if it wasnt 18 days from expiriing
I purchased these February 4th, and they shipped 2 Day Air with my Amazon Prime. However as will the other reviews, they only have a 5 month shelf life. The box I received expires in 18 days. Luckily Amazon issued a refund for the product.Had the product had more time left on the shelf life it would have been an excellent buy. However the 18 day limit but a real ding in my plan to take them to work to use for my sandwiches at lunch

Great value!
I bought Tyson chicken kits which have a mayonnaise packet. I don't trust it because it is runny and looks spoiled, so I ordered these. These taste much better and they are fat-free, which I find interesting because they don't taste like fat-free things usually do. These are thick and creamy, perfect for mixing with tuna and chicken on-the-go kits. If I'm reading it right, my expiration date is in 2014, so I have some time to use these. I ordered them for travel, but I am single and I don't like opening jars of food that I use sporadically. I feel more comfortable with these smaller portions that will keep fresh longer.
