Excellent buy
These are pretty good. They're what you'd expect. They attract lots of fly, the flys stay stuck to them which is good and there's no smell. The only drawback with these things is when it comes to changing it for a new one. You get the sticky nastiness from the old tape on your fingers. Very functional, great size pack.

Effective
Great stuff, I've caught loads of flies. Only 1 out of the 10 I've used has pulled out of the tube and left its self useless. I have rabbits and dogs in the house, so spraying to kill isn't always possible. They are better than spraying, even if your more annoyed by that 1 fly buzzing around your head... give a couple of minutes and it'll be caught.

Works, but tricky to put it up.
It catches all the flies eventually. The only issue is setting it up, it’s very very sticky, unless you wear gloves, you’ll get it all over your hands and might take a few days to remove it, unless you have some paint thinner at hand to wash your hands.

Works, given time
Don't expect flies to come swarming to these things. Most of the time the act completely disinterested but if you leave them up for long enough, you will eventually catch some - purely by chance, I reckon. During August I counted 12 blue bottles on my window and not one anywhere near the fly strip. It mostly catches smaller flies but it does work, given time. They do look ugly as well. I wish they hadn't banned vapona fly killers - they looked like air fresheners but killed everything within hours, without the horrible choking smell of fly spray.

Sticky stuff
Easy to set up, just stick the pushpin somewhere high and hang the strip from it. Its longer than you think and once its up you'll be catching insects in no time.

Flies meet a sticky end
I don't like flies. Inherently I'm not a card-carrying member of the Flies fan club. Flies outside, doing their fly'y thing, fine by me. Come into my kitchen and you're going to meet Mr Teat Owl. Except said Owl is a bit rubbish at killing flies, but very good at smashing other stuff around the kitchen work surface. So I resorted to playing the long game. A series of sticky adornments hanging from the ceiling, calling to the little blighters like a Siren-esque temptress. Within minutes the first unfortunate fellow fell foul of my trap. More followed, oblivious to the dying screams of the rest of their micro-squadron. It transpired that the tape doesn't dry out, and keeps on doing its evil work until you walk into it and are smeared with the catch of previous days/weeks. You will stick to these papers just as effectively as any wingéd creature - ask me how I know... I also felt bad seeing them struggle for many hours as their life force slowly ebbed away, the Teat Owl was always a quicker despatcher of flies. Still, they came into MY kitchen and made maggots in MY bin! Note to the cautious, the drawing pins supplied are pretty much a single-use version. Once you need to move the fly-killing decoration they won't work a second time. Of course, you won't need them when you're removing it from your hair...{ask me how I know}
