It’s a big YES… my daughter’s hair is mixed… very curly looking like an Afro when dry… I did my daughter’s hair with this product… and her hair looked like mine… which I have very fine hair when straightened and soft curls naturally… don’t rush on flat ironing… the smell is overwhelming… wear a mask and flat iron the hair in a well ventilated place
