Otherkin Tarot

I really really love these, I haven't actually ever done tarot but I've wanted to since I was a kid!I saw some reviews saying that these are grotesque and weird, and for some people that may be true, but as someone who loves nature and animals these illustrations are beautiful. The watercolor look is something I love. I've attached some pics of my favorites. It does an amazing job at connecting humanity and nature.As for the card stock I really can't say as I have never used any other tarot, but to me they feel firm and not paper like and they're nice and glossy.The book it comes with is useful especially for someone who hasn't done tarot before.I cant decide on my favorites but I love death, the magician, ace of pentacles, and temperance!

Interesting concept, but could have been done so much better. The pictures for different cards are not intuitive with the cards type, meaning or number, etc. and the text on the cards is too light!

Beautiful and mysterious cards! The art is gorgeous and the cards are good quality. I’ve bought every deck from this artist, and I plan to continue to do so. I’m very excited to bond more with my deck. My only thing is that I wish the artist would have included more about the inspiration behind the art for each card, what folklore/myth/creature each was based from. However, I respect the omission of that detail because perhaps she wanted the reader to focus more on what they got from each card, which is beautiful. They have a bit of weird energy to them, but I think that’s because of the unfamiliarity I have with them and the handling from delivery. I plan to smoke cleanse them and start to form a relationship to get to know the deck better.

I love these cards! My first deck was the Linestrider which made me fall in love with Siolo Thompson's art, and her decks are still my absolute favorite. The art on each card invokes the feeling of the card's meaning, making it easier to read intuitively. I also really enjoy the pigments in the background of each card and the pattern on the backs of the cards, which is symmetrical so you can read cards reversed if you so choose. The book is very helpful and I appreciate how the different artistic renderings led to slightly different summaries of each card in this book compared to Linestrider.This set is beautiful, the book is helpful, and I get a really good feeling from holding, shuffling, and reading the cards, which is all I could ask for from a tarot deck.

Love the card stock (soooo much better than the first run of Linestrider tarot), and the book is everything you can ask for in a tarot deck package. However, and this is probably just me, I find something a little disturbing about a few of the images - enormous rabbit heads on human bodies, grotesque fish heads on human bodies with large, dead eyes. I don't expect every deck to be warm and fuzzy, but there is just something nightmarishly wrong with a few of the cards.That said, if the art calls to you, this is definitely a product worth buying. I'm a huge huge fan of Siolo Thompson and her decks are always amazing!

I love this gentle deck and the artwork is stunning. I paint in watercolors and actually bought it for inspiration. This deck has truly inspired me in many ways.

I came for the cute other-formly animals and minimalistic pictures. This deck does not disappoint me a bit.I am not a tarot user, just a casual collector, so I cannot tell if this deck is good for reading or not. But I definitely see that every card is designed with precised thoughts and heart. Love the whole deck. Now I'm highly interested in buying all other decks from the same author.

I love the illustrations! But the best thing about these cards is that I feel super connected to them. I have several tarot decks and I have been drawn to these in the middle of readings with another deck.

I am a fan of the Linestrider Tarot, but for some reason I never purchased that one. I did get the OtherKin, as I like the idea of blending animals and humans. The artwork is beautiful, albeit a bit simple. Not very packed with symbols, but if you know your RWS, this will work for you.

I am obsessed with tarot and having different variations/collections/decks. This is definitely one of my favourite ones so far. The cardstock is of great quality, the printing is of great quality. The illustrations are just one of a kind. I've been eyeing them for quite some time now and I do not regret purchasing them. If you were wondering whether to get them or not - this is your sign. They are super nice to shuffle, a bit slippery as they are glossed but do not stick together like many others. Again the illustrations are just amazing and I really connect with them. I love calm and muted colours and animals too. Just a brilliant deck!

I own both the Linestrider deck and the Hedgewitch Botanical Oracle by Siolo Thompson already, and I’m a big fan of the beautiful care and detail in every card. The Otherkin Tarot is no exception, with the same watercolour style artwork making this deck soft and elegant, whilst still remaining true to the tarot style with themes to interpret. As with the other decks, this comes in a box with a guidebook with individual descriptions of each card.

I really wanted this deck. I was super excited and watched videos even on unboxings.A few things, I already own 2 decks. Cheapy ones. Not as great art for sure in my opinion or really my style. I was super excited for it thinking the quality would be amazing.However, there's no point in a deck you can't really use. I'm super careful with my stuff, in saying that they were all scratched up and bent after a few uses. My 10 dollar decks are better quality and have held up for half a year better than this deck. I don't usually return things so I hmm'd and haw'd over it but decided it wasn't worth keeping something that was already all scratched up, ruining the reason I got it in the first place.The art is still beautiful, but the card stock quality is not good.

Beautiful artwork. The cardstock is a bit flimsy though so they do scratch and bend easily if you’re not careful. They’re slippery, which I like as they shuffle easily.
