Write to AMAZON, show proof that what you got was NOT 12 pounds. I never weighed mine, cause I never touched the items. I was told it was surely 12 pounds, by family, so I took what they shared to be fact

12 pounds of candy!! Plus each piece is individually wrapped. I sent this to grandkids, THEY LOVED ME, Mom's not so much because of the wrappers were everywhere, it was like raking up leaves I was told and scolded. All just as was my Christmas Plan. Makes a good birthday gift, for kid and mom to pick up the wrappers... I'm just saying it was a great gift.

Q: I notice that it's mostly Tootsie products but I see laffy taffy, sweet hearts, dots. Does the assortment include all of those choices ?

It has a rather nice range of "chewy" candy products without adding chewing gum. As a librarian, we want our patrons to have a "little treat" now and then to keep on studying or researching or whatever. I also buy a mix that has mostly hard candy and mix them together and set them out in a small dish on the front counter. However, I have come to hate chewing gum. It ends up everywhere that is a solid (glass side tables alone seem exempt). This mix seems to meet a range of sweet tooth needs, especially those favoring "soft" treats. It is a good choice for the price.
