The box is labelled not to drop!
Xterra does not use enough Styrofoam to secure contents. Styrofoam is also very weak and breaks to pieces in shipping. This resulted in multiple pieces being bent, dented and scratched. The cardboard box is also not rigid enough to endure shipping process. I was able to bend strap with aid of a Vise-Grip pliers and 12" adjustable wrench. I secured that screw last and all was okay. The bike seems to operate good. The pedal straps do not secure tightly and will pop off easily. The seat tends to wiggle while you are pedaling. This is due to frame being slightly oversize which will cause seat frame to shift during pedaling.Purchased bike for physical therapy after total knee replacement. It is easy to get on and off. I have not tried any of different programs or functions since I can only just pedal bike in manual low range.

Assembly easy - pulse monitor off by > 20%
The unit was easy to assemble and is easy to use. The seat is comfortable for 45 minute workouts. The programs available are varied enough to keep your workout from being boring.Pulse recovery feature lets you analyze your cooldown, but needs to be able to do more than a 1-minute cooldown. The pulse monitor is simply not accurate. It varies from my Apple watch (which is accurate when compared to hospital telemetry system) by more than 20% at times. It also frequently loses the signal even when I'm properly gripping the handles. It will start up again a few moments later with no change. I also noticed that only when you grip BOTH handles will the pulse monitor attempt to work. NOW: let's also buffer this comment. Even on cardio equipment at a gym or at a hospital's rehab unit, grip-type pulse monitors are notorious for both of these problems.

Xterra SB250 Recumbent Bike
First, I would like to offer a complaint on the seller, Twenty 19. In going to Xterra's official website to check something regarding assembly, I noticed they had the exact same bike for $400, free shipping and no sales tax. I paid Twenty 19 $639.46 and that included sales tax. That company is a rip off; don't use them. Regarding the assembly, it would have been nice if I had been told it really takes 2 people to put it together and they should tell you you have to turn the bike upside down during the second assembly stage. Once together, surprisingly the computer actually works, I wasn't too confident there; you see I am 70 years old and just not that tech savvy. The bike works great; having a little trouble figuring out the programming.

Damaged during shipping.
The bike is pretty decent but it came slightly damaged. The box looked like it fell from a 3 story building. Some minor chips on some parts and there's a loud noise when pedaling. Overall besides the damage during shipping its not a bad bike.

Spend the extra on something better
The media could not be loaded. Definitely not a sturdy machine. The overall construction feels extremely flimsy. Wasn't super hard to put together but some of the parts weren't numbered. Took about 2.5 hours to unbox and put together. The seat isn't really comfortable. It's also bent because the left side of the sweat is lower than the right side. The assembly itself wiggles while you are riding. It is not very snug on the rail. In the video you can see how the column that the seat attaches to is swaying. My wife is WAY under the weight limit. The pedals are small and feel cheap. When pedaling it feels like they are loose, flexing up and down. They are tight so I'm not sure what's going on.The column that the handlebars and computer attaches to is also not stable. Lots of wiggling. One plus is the screen is very bright. In summation, if you weigh more than 160 I'd be afraid to ride this because it just feels cheap and flimsy. I've reached out to the company for support but imagine I will be returning this. Ugh...

Great Bike!!
This bike really works great if shipped in good condition. The package box looked terrible for 1st delivery and the parts were damaged. Contacted Amazon customer and got great support to return the item. 2nd one was shipped in relatively good condition. Assembly process is a little bit difficult for wiring and heavy parts but overall it is okay. It is easy to adjust the seat position and the working intensity. The small console controls the training courses bases on your demand. The bike could also measure the body fat ratio and heart beat rate correctly. I will recommend my friend to buy this.
