My initial reaction is that it is hard to believe you get this kind of quality in a crimping tool for the price paid. Fit and finish are great. The tool produces a solid crimp and works flawlessly so far. I have made less than 50 crimps so far, so I can't speak to longevity. I will update this review if this changes. Very satisfied at this time.

I own a professional style wire stripper tool from the Irwin brand, and it does an excellent job of stripping wire. I've been using the crimper portion of that tool to do said crimps as well. Unfortunately, it doesn't always do a perfect job crimping, and it requires an abnormal amount of force applied, to make the crimp. It was time to step up to a professional style crimper, from the Wirefy brand. Obviously, for this price, this tool is 100% Chinese made. A truly American, German, or Japanese brand industrial ratcheting crimper tool, would cost you hundreds of dollars! If you look at the picture I have uploaded, showing the end of the crimper jaw, you can clearly see QC issues in regards to the metal quality. OK, so I have established that the quality of metal might be sub-par, but how does it perform? The good news is, it performs awesome! This was my first time using this style of crimper, so I was having issues at first, until I learned the best way to do it. My best advice, is to put the terminal connector in the jaw first, then begin crimping down till the metal jaw is just touching the terminal. (Don't crush it yet!) Then put the wire into the terminal, then start crimping the terminal and wire together, and then use both hands to make it easier. Once the crimp is made, the tool releases, and I felt I was left with a quality crimp. On all of the crimping jobs I did using fully insulated terminals, not one of them did the wire pull out! The tool has some heft to it, so it does have a heavy duty feel. The ratcheting mechanism seems to work well, and its not as loud as some other's I've heard, in people's Youtube video's. The handle has a good grip as well, the tool never slipped out of my hands. When the tool is in the closed position with the jaw empty, I can confirm what other's have said, it can be hard to push that little latch, to open the tool. But I still managed to do it anyways, so its not that big of an issue. So far I haven't had any issues with this tool, and I am going to have to recommend it with a solid 5 out of 5 stars!

I like this crimper. I did not give five stars because something to do with how it clamps does not quite feel right. But maybe this is just the way it is. So far the crimps have all come out well. So I like it.

These have great action, but not too hard to squeeze. They do significantly better than the typical wire crimpers everyone starts with. I got these to get in some tighter spaces since the crimper side is on the widest side of a standard set. I should've bought a set like this many years ago. I usually get a solid crimp w/ the standard set but I always have to crimp/release/crimp to be sure. I also always double crimp so that's 6 steps. I'll still use the same method but I can see for sure these crimp the first time and it's only 3 steps now since this does the double crimp by design. They crimp more evenly all around, they compress way tighter, and the crimp just looks way better/clean all around. The price is appropriate as well. Very satisfied and these will last longer than I will.

Feels and performs just like the expensive ones, seems just as durable. only complaint and this goes for every set of these i've ever used is that i generally have to use the size down to get a reliable crimp. (yellow connector, use blue; blue, use red; red, crimp at an angle)

Diese Crimpzange hat meine Arbeit beim Verdrahten enorm erleichtert. Sie liegt gut in der Hand, lässt sich präzise dosieren und greift die Verbinder gleichmäßig fest – nichts rutscht, nichts wird beschädigt. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass die Zange für isolierte Stoßverbinder ausgelegt ist und diese absolut sicher vercrimpt. Ideal für Kfz, Elektronik, Modellbau und Hausinstallationen. A strong, well-built tool. It’s a bit tricky if you have smaller hands, and sometimes your skin can get caught between the handles.
