Saw and improvement in a couple days
It's only been about a week since I've been giving this to my hen. Before she could hardly walk and if she did it was mostly backwards and her neck was crooked and she was holding her head almost backwards. Now she seems pretty close to normal. Not 100% but a lot better. This product seemed to have helped her.

good
Exactly as I expected, easy to use. I believe it is effective as i have healthy, quick feathering chicks.

Great for chickens
This selenium and vitamin e powder works great! I use it on my chickens whenever they get wry neck and this usually solves the problem very quick. It is super easy to use because itโs in power form and also comes with a good amount in the little bin. It is a little expensive but this powder is usually on the expensive side so I think itโs worth it.

Hopefully this helps
I have one bird who gets re current wry neck. Selenium is supposed to help. Its too soon to say if its doing anything, but i can say that its easy to use and the birds dont seem to mind it.

Very useful to have with chickens and ducks
I am a new poultry keeper lol. Me and my husband got some chickens and ducks and have been quickly learning as much as we can about them and determined it's vital to have a supplement with vitamin e and selenium in it for their growth and long-term health. We were considering a couple of options, either in liquid form to add to their water, or in this kind of powdered form to add to their food, and decided this one was best. It can be added to the entire flocks meal, or individual portions that they can eat out of a cup while you hold them, so that the rest of the flock can have a basic maintenance dose, but any with exhibiting any issues, can have a boosted dose. We find that much easier to navigate separate foods, than having separate waterers which would require having separate enclosures, plus they don't drink a lot at once, so ensuring they are getting enough of that is much more difficult, where is this we can essentially spike their treats with these nutrients and they are eager to take it so we can be more precise with the doses they are all getting. This is a very good value for the amount you are getting, a little definitely goes a long way. We have a flock of 10 currently so this will last a long time with that, and if we get more, this will still last many months and potentially longer of just a maintenance dose if no one is having any concerns. It comes with a little scooper which makes measuring very easy and you just sprinkle it on their food. It doesn't seem like they notice any flavor to it because they don't express any hesitation towards eating any food with it included, which is great. It's never ideal to have to syringe feed medicines or nutrients to animals that don't want them. Particularly chickens and ducks which are not the most calm and participatory towards treatments. They have been taking this willingly without issues or us having to do anything additional to offset the flavors. It's a pretty fine consistency, but as we are not using it in the water, I'm not sure how easy and quick it is to dissolve. But in general most things are easier to dissolve in warmer water, so in the winter time just heating up the water should make that easier if that is an issue. But in food it just seamlessly mixes in If you give the food a little spritz or splash and shake it around like we do anyway. That already boosts hydration and their interest in eating it anyway.

Easy to use. A little goes a long way.
Review for selenium and vitamin E powder for chickens. I had a frizzle Cochin that was starting to get wry neck and I read that vitamin E and selenium were important for treating wry neck. I am relatively new to chickens and was not sure what dose to give or where to get an appropriate supplement, so when I saw this product, I was excited. It is relatively easy to mix this powder according to the directions into dry feed, but I recommend being as precise as possible to prevent overdose. My frizzle improved on this supplement, and then suddenly and rapidly declined and died within a day. I have no idea what happened, but I have begun using it again at diluted levels. So far, itโs good and I am hoping to prevent wry neck from happening again. This is the only chicken supplement I could find that had these two vitamins I needed. I have since read that they need b-complex in addition when supplementing with selenium and vitamin e. This powder seems to go a long way, so it is a good value for the money.

I would mix it with water
I didn't like the instructions to the application of this product - it is not that simple to mix the feed with the right amount of powder. Instead I just add it to the water! That way it's mixed in properly - mixing this powder with feed seems to be counterintuitive. Other than that, it's not bad.
