Bestop 8103509 Charcoal All Weather Trail Cover, 1976-1986 CJ7; 1987-1991 YJ

The only reason for taking away one star is because it did leak some on the top. This was after a heavy rain and standing water on the roof. Luckily we had the bikini top on so it wasn’t too bad. This is super easy for even one person to put on. It takes only 5 minutes. It fits our 88 YJ perfectly.

Fits great and works great for no doors. The picture is shown with the doors on but it will not work with the doors on. Its made for doors off only.

Nice cover, but doesn't quite fit my CJ5. Would fit a CJ7 just fine. Its a little loose on the CJ5. Plus the elastic strap have loosened up already. It should adjustable straps in the back for a tighter fit. But i gave it five stars anyway cause its cool as ...heck.

This cover works excellent, fits perfect. Only reason it received 4 instead of 5 stars is Bestop should use the hold down straps on the rear of the cover. The door ones work so good, and instead they put elastic that goes around the taillights and spare tire. Also it would be better if the channel hold downs went around the rear of the Jeep. They use these on the sides to hold the cover down to the body. But it does keep the rain out as is, even in thunderstorms. I only worry the elastic will stretch and not hold the cover down for more than a season or two.

I read a lot of reviews and one that stuck out to me was about the the tie down straps. I have an 87 YJ and took a chance and purchased one. It fits great and really snug. The straps are wide and thick as well as adjustable. Almost like tie down straps. They also have multiple multiple stitchings on it so I'm not concerned about it breaking. These aren't the bungee cords that people were mentioning. Who knows, maybe they heard about peoples complaints and fixed it.. The only complaint I really have is the flaps that cover the door. The openings towards the front of the Jeep isn't as snug as I would like and they do move a bit when it's windy. Saturday it rained for the first time since I got it and there was no pooling of water on the top or the back of the jeep. And even with the minor movement of the flaps over the doors I didn't have any water on the inside. I can add photos if people are interested, otherwise I highly recommend the product.

81 CJ7 fits like a glove. Highly recommend. No issues yet!! Its pouring and windy in attached photo. Cape Cod in July thunderstorm. I would have uploaded a video but couldn't. Left hard and soft tops and all doors home for the week of vaca. This cover performed exceptionally and is very easy to use. I get the comments about losing elasticity in rear straps. I see a very easy solution if/when that happens. Cut elastic strap and add a $.50 plastic clip like the ones on the side straps (or a sport helmet chin strap) You will bee able to tighten as needed/desired. Could use two more side straps to tighten a little more snugly at rear quarter panels. Highly compact and portable love the storage bag. Easy to use with one person, two people it takes 2 seconds to put on.

I own a 1989 Jeep YJ first off delivery said 5 days came next day! Before tracking said it was delivered,so that’s a plus. Second I see some reviews on here saying it doesn’t fit tight but on my YJ with (stock rollcage,it’s angled) and a big light bar on the windshield it fits perfect for me. Definitely some good materials. I’m update after a month and see how it does

Top fits very well. Top stayed on and kept Jeep dry in a windy torrential rainstorm.
