Arrived with broken part
The door arrived with a broken peg and I could not attach it to the litter box. I did nothing about it for a week or more. By then, I decided against complaining; I thought it might look as if my cats or I had broken it, rather than being broken prior to arrival. I rated low on sturdiness for the obvious reason.Arriving broken has become a big deal, as my cats are still able to scratch a bit of litter out and onto the floor, and there is some odor. Cleaning it is less difficult than others my cats have had, though I would not call it easy. I have yet to find a cat litter box that solves all the potential problems, but I have had cats as pets for sixty-two years and this litter box is a good one.Despite my little problem, I would highly recommend this litter box. The small peg , with another like it on the other side of the door, was meant to hold the door in place and allow it to swing in or out. I should have contacted someone about it but did not.

Big!! My XL cat is happy!
My 18-pound cat loves this. Finally a covered litter box large enough for him! I like it because the cover has a filter in it to cut down on odors, and he likes it because it’s both wide and tall so he can be comfortable in there. The product itself is a pretty solid plastic. It doesn’t feel flimsy. I took off the flap for easy entrance/exit, so I can’t speak to thats us.The bags provided at basically useless, however. The plastic tears at any provocation, so by the time you’re ready to change the litter, the bag is in pieces. It can hold almost no weight even if it weren’t already shredded. Not a deal breaker—I just don’t use them, dumping the whole thing into a separate sturdier bag inside a large wastebasket and regularly rinsing the box instead.I have found the cover to occasionally be finicky to unlatch and relatch, but you just have to make sure it is lined up exactly all the way around or else it won’t work, so that can be tricky.Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality for the price point, and my extra-large cat is very happy to have a covered box he can maneuver in. :)~S.

We're very happy with this litter box!
I don't recommend using the liners as they are more trouble than it is worth. Out cats just scratched them up and put holes in them. It took our young cats a few days to get used to the door, quite a bit of encouragement, and we kept their old one in place; this replaced the other secondary box. One of four latches (front left one) on ours was defective, but that was no big deal. Be sure to test yours first thing when you get it. The integrated scoop and filters are nifty, but we use our own scoop. Our male cat doesn't bury so the filter and cover makes a big difference with odors!

Great price. Mostly satisfied.
Pretty satisfied with this. Only complaint is kid is very hard to get too latch sometimes. Price is good compared to others.

Great for large cats
I have two large cats and one was constantly urinating over the side of the box. This is large enough for big cats and I have had no more issues with urine spilling over the edge.

Finally one for large cats!
Just right for two 18lbs and over cats! The compartment at the top is very handy too! I took off the flap which was very easy to do. The hood has kept my cats from clawing the wall and the floor. It has also helped and not spreading so much cat litter. The lip is high enough where the cat litter doesn't get everywhere for me.

Not sturdy
I’ve had this litter box just 9 days and it’s cracked. . I noticed a fine litter dust on the floor but didn’t even consider it might be cracked. One of my cats used the back of the box, I scoop twice a day or more if needed. I noticed light coming through the corner. Upon further inspection it was obvious there was a crack. After emptying the pan it was apparent the corner was cracked from top to bottom. Based on that I cannot recommend buying this. I’ve written to the seller asking for a replacement pan and hope they will send one or a coupon for a replacement pan at Petco.

Good and stable.
This is the best litter box I have ever had. I have 10 cats so I have had plenty of them. 4 of my cats weigh between 18 - 21 lbs. they love it!! One of the things I love about it the sturdiness of the box. So many of them are flimsy plastic. It is an excellent litter box.

Impractical, broke on first use
I researched many enclosed litter trays and went with this one because of the large size and charcoal filter. It arrived without packaging and with the filter and liners missing, but the retailer fixed this quickly. (The XXL liners are nearly impossible to source in Australia BTW - good luck with that.) My cats quickly learned to use the swinging flap door, even though they've never seen a cat door, and all seemed well. However, having had the product for a few weeks now, I find it's barely usable. The flap is attached by two plastic pins (allowing it to swing) - one broke off the first time I removed the door to scoop the tray (it can't be scooped without either removing the flap, or taking off the entire roof of the tray). This is unfixable, so now I have a door-less non-enclosed tray which is functionally no different from an open tray. The smell is not contained. The cats tend to rip up the liner during the course of the week (far more so than with the open tray they had before, maybe because they can't see what they're doing?) so the idea of bunching up the liner and tossing it in one piece will never happen. In any case, the tray requires so much litter that it's extremely heavy when full of urine as well. While it might be necessary to be this big (so a large cat can turn around), and is much bigger than my previous "large" open tray, it makes cleaning up a massive chore. Soiled litter in the shredded liner can't be easily tipped into a "large" size garbage bag because the tray is too wide for the bag to fit around. Prepare to make a mess.Another reason for having an enclosed tray, in theory to contain the litter, doesn't work in practice because my cats stick their heads back inside after using the tray and flick out litter anyway. The enclosed tray therefore makes as much mess as a high-sided open tray. The entire concept is too much to bother with. It's going out with the hard rubbish. Waste of money.
