More expensive, but will last many times longer than a Stanley.
I have thrown dozens of the old standby, the Stanley 25', away because they got wet from rain or salt water, and the spring rusted, or the tape got so rusted i couldn't read it. I first bought Komelon to use around boats and other waterfront projects, and years later I'm still using the first one. I just had to throw a bunch of Stanleys away that were in a tool bax that got left open in the rain, and decided to replace them all with Komelons. PROS: In addition, they look sharp, have a cushioned case to protect against drops, are easy to read, and are printed on both sides. CONS: The return spring is almost TOO strong, as it tends to overpower the blade lock if you don't push it down fully. And the rubberized case doesn't slip in and out of tool pouch pockets as easily as the Stanley.

Better than any other tape I have used.
I work outdoors and this tape stands up to being wet and not rusting. It can get dirty and still work, it actually retracts! I have had the cheaper Komelons last me a year. They are pretty flimsy though. This has better stand-out.I couldn't get a Stanley or a Lufkin to last but a few months in the outdoors wet and dirt. My Milwaukee had the blade peel apart due to rust within 8 weeks...… sure they replaced it but the tape still will not stand outdoors work.

Durable and accurate.
This is a great 25 foot tape measure It is accurate and easy to read. You can take your measurements from the front or back of the tape. The tape is wide enough that it does not tangle when retracting the tape after taking long measurements. I got mine to replace a well used komelon tape because some of the numbers were hard to see after using it for a long time.

Not as great as I thought it would be, getting wet.
Was excited to give this tape a try bust was disappointed to find that the tip has 1/16" of play. I am a tile setter and was pleased to finally get a tape that won't rust from the wet saw water. I guess I'll still use it where exact accuracy isn't super important.Update: after using this for a month paint us severely chipping off and internals are rusting and marking the tape. Effectively doing the same thing as a regular tape.Bottom lime: Good idea, poor execution. Would not suggest this tape if your looking for a solution to your tapes rustimg/becoming inreadable from working in the wet. I'll be going back to my Stanley Fatman.

Great Tape - Stainless Steel Coated
I had one of these previously and lost it. This is an exact replacement of that one. Works great and appears to be quite accurate when measuring from the end of the tape.

Definitely not for contractors
I'm not sure why these tapes are being rated so well but it's undeserving. This is not a tape for a professional, mine lasted (2) days before the blade twisted and was useless. Always used FMax but became disappointed with their quality going downward but I guess that's the way it's going to be, back to the FMax. Might give Milw a try but I can tell you this tape isn't for contractors who use them everyday and often

Great for wet environments
I bought this for measuring across wet concrete floors on a job site and it holds up really well.

Will not rust
Love it. In flooring business has not begun to rust due to working with wet saw and water
