The Enviable Lifestyle: Creating a Successful Massage Therapy Business

This book is packed full with practical and constructive information. I feel like it's perspective is unique and honoring to this healing profession. You can tell that the authors have a genuine respect for other massage therapists and that they want to see you succeed. Unlike other books, this one focuses directly on LMTs who wish to own their own business. It gives enough of the basics so that you don't feel lost but also goes into depth on the things that matter. The authors artfully include their own stories and anecdotes without making it "all about them". When I finished reading it, I felt inspired with direction and purpose. After reading a handful of other massage business books, this is the only one I would recommend wholeheartedly.

When I purchased The Enviable Life, there were not yet any reviews. I took a chance and am not disappointed. The book is what I expected--nothing new, really, but it does have very positive approach without sounding like it was written by a cheerleader. The authors are passionate about their business and it shows in their book. A nice read for a young massage school graduate or even as a school text.

Good Material. Hard to Read. The material was good but the formatting of the book made it difficult for me to read due insufficient gutter space, weird line spacing, and smallish font. I would love to see these formatting issues corrected or a good Kindle version released.

This book was phenomenal! It is chock full of sensible information that can bridge the gap between massage school and a thriving practice. In fact,I think this book should be required reading for all massage therapy school courses.This book and its principles could be adapted to many different kinds of small businesses.What are you waiting for? The authors offee many easy-to-follow business scenarios to help therapists develop good customer service skills. I am already developing my marketing and client follow up materials.

I really enjoy reading this book, authors have share their experiences and explain it very detail. If you planning on starting up a massage business I strongly recommend this book.

I bought this book and another book called The Magic Touch written by Meagan Holub and this one seemed significantly more insightful. I got the feeling that Meagan was coming from a more basic approach and really didn't touch much on marketing and sales which this book did much more of.

This book is easy to read, thorough, and valuable for any small business owner. It was one of the tools I used to decide to change careers. Really a wonderful book. I can't recommend it enough. Enjoy!

To be hones I wasn't sure about this book but I'm glad I bought it.Now I'm looking at my business from my clients point of view.How they see me...how they remember me...Treat every client like this is always your first appointmentDon't talk how busy and not available you are- Be always available for them...they need to talk to you on Sun at 10pm.
