LOVE these chips! Bought some last year for my husband for Christmas! Cant find Alder chips in Arizona! When my husband was making his Christmas list guess what was at the top of his list, yep you guessed it these chips! Love them, absolutely LOVE them. 12 Pounds lasted us a year! Yeah for us!!!!! Thank you for offering these chips for those of us that had to move away from Washington!

These are the best alder wood chips available ! When buying alder wood always buy those from the Pacific North West. The smoke flavor is completely different than alder wood from Colorado. I have bought chips from the seller before and these were a gift for one of my sons

Bought it specifically to smoke wild salmon, but turns out it's good on beef and pork too. Glad I bought the large size.Will use it all winter on the big green egg.

First, I have been smoking a variety of meats and seafood using various woods for the past 47 years. I promtly received the product and was impressed with the quality of the wood. Used it this past weekend to smoke some salmon and was very pleased with the result. Unless you smoke food at least several times a month as I do you should probably order the smaller bag, which is in no way small.I think you'll be very pleased with this company and their products.

What's to say? The chips were just right for my smoker and, as best I can determine, all alder. The salmon has been delicious.
