Amara View Replacement Headgear (Large)

It's a great replacement.

It fits just as comfortably as the original version. I have a slight issue with the “improvement” that is the inclusion of the magnetic snaps. Originally, the headgear was attached only to hooks that clasped to the face mask. Now this new version has magnetic snaps that click into plastic hooks already attached to the face mask. It’s supposed to make touring the mask on and off easier should the need arise. It seems like a good idea in theory. However, about more than half the time that I would try to disengage the magnetic snap from the attached hook so that I could take the mask off once I’ve woken up, the actual assembly of the magnetic snap plus the hook that’s attached to the face mask would come off. It’s not that big of a deal because that’s what I had to do before anyways, before the magnetic snaps were added to the new version of the headgear. I comment on it just to say that although the magnetic snaps are a good idea, they work about as the same as if they weren’t there in the first place. Nevertheless, there’s no reason to dock off any stars.

Insurance only covers 1 every six months but they stretch out way before then. This one was way cheaper than buying from a medical parts store. It fits very well and stays in place all night. The clips were different from the headgear I get through insurance but was very easy to remove and add the clips from my old headgear. The straps are easy to adjust. The Velcro feels strong and hold very well over night. The packaging was minimal which was great. No unnecessary plastic or papers to get rid of after. Will be buying again as needed.

Works good for me

I have always used this head band for my CPAP and it is fabulous. The velcro is very strong and lasts for a long time. I may only have to buy these once a year. It is great!

I bought this product by item code. Product did not fit correctly. But was good quality. Overall okay product

Arrived super fast, and the price for two was better then what I would get if I ordered from a regular supplier for my cpap mask. Definitely needed these and Amazon had the right size and brand which was amazing to find.
