Indian Clubs - Oak 1 Pound Pair with Training DVD

WOW! These clubs are bang for the buck. The craftsmanship is stunning and beautiful. It states these are 1 lb each but weighing them on my digital scale they are exactly 1.4 lbs each. The DVD is good, very traditional training techniques. You won't find fancy club swinging tricks like on YouTube. I'm a bit of a purist so that's ok by me. However the clubs are something to behold. Incorporating these into my workout regiment has finally given me a great way to really strengthen the shoulder complex. If you don't work the shoulder muscles on all plains (including rotation) you can get injured in sports and lifting. Purple Heart Armory Revolution Clubs are quality A+. Shipping is faster than what Amazon order history stated. I'm looking forward to buying additional sets.

I am completely satisfied with the 1 Lb Indian Clubs with Training DVD and I will probably purchase the 2 and 3 Lb Clubs soon.

I'm actually reviewing a ten lb. pair bought directly from Revolution. Delivery took a number of weeks which is perhaps understandable as they were custom made however communication during the process was basically non existent. The clubs were beautiful when they arrived but just a few weeks after receiving them one developed an approximately 9" vertical crack probably from shrinkage. Some cracking is expectable over years of use but after just a few weeks?? I wonder if the wood had been sufficiently dried before production. I sent an email about this to Revolution but no reply. The clubs are useable but for how long I can't say. I have not used the smaller weight Revolution clubs and they may be perfectly fine.

Purchased as a gift. The clubs were delivered very timely and were received with great enthusiasm. They were handsome and well constructed and accompanied a DVD for the beginner.

I wanted these indian clubs to work on flexibility and mobility in my shoulders and am very satisfied with these. The wood is of good quality and the clubs are definitely more than a pound, which is a nice surprise. The dvd was excellent as well, it provided all necessary instruction. I recommend these to anyone who wants to work on flexibility rather than strength

I am very impressed with the quality of materials and workmanship of these clubs. Made of oak, my 1 pound clubs are slightly heavier than the listed weight @ 1lb,5.4oz and 1lb,4.2oz. They will provide a lifetime of use and are of heirloom quality.An instructive DVD is included. Martial Arts instructor Richard Maguire provides background information on club use and demonstrates basic techniques. The DVD concludes with Maguire performing feats of strength.I definitely plan on buyer from this company again.

Excellent quality. They feel great. I'm using them several times a week and my shoulders feel stronger and more mobile. I highly recommend this brand. The video is very informative, although I seem to have developed my own order routine just by trying them out and playing around with them.
