In this switch’s defense, the wire connection to the part of the switch that moves around worked itself loose which caused the wire to heat up and melt the plastic housing while I was driving up a hill.I saved my original switch from my 94 Club Car DS and, as I was cleaning it up, I discovered that the copper bars were literally twice as thick as this new “heavy duty” switch.I pulled the micro switches off of this heavy duty switch and replaced them on my original and now she’s running like a champ!An added benefit of the original switch design is that you can run a bolt through the copper bars and tighten it down extremely well. This new switch has brass lugs that strip much easier (I know… I had to re-thread on of these lugs)For what it’s worth, it took me close to 2 hours to tear apart my original switch, clean and sand all the connection points, and re-install it on the cart. In hindsight I should’ve done that to begin with, but nobody wrote a review letting me know that “Heavy Duty” in the 2020’s meant half of “adequate” back in the 90’s.

Very easy to install it cured my problem. I called the local golf cart store and they wanted up to $200 and then another $100 to put it on I did it all because I bought this took me 10 minutes to put it on and it cost me 80 bucks

I bought and installed this switch in October. I hooked my cart up to a small lawn aerator, and the switch melted the switch in minuets. Pulling no more than 200 pounds. I'm not sure this is a high amp switch. ALL connection bolts were tight, i checked.

This is part of a motor and controller upgrade. I installed the FNR before the other stuff showed. The microswitch wires are spade connections and the added length is helpful. It works perfectly but it is a bit stiffer to get into forward or reverse.

Easy to install just dont like where the handle falls f is bottom left n is center left and r is just over straight up and down. No way to adjust that im aware of
