Great for the value, just have to be careful inserting the ink. It could be messy.

Notice the type of cartridge I turned out to be having. No good place to put a hole. The one place that looks likely, I tried to use the drill there, but it is a very hard plastic and I was conscious of making a mess (which turned out to be the case anyway) so I tried to attach a nail to my drill and go at it. I figured the drill would make a big hole anyway and so I don't want to end up messing up the insides of my printerThe drill should have made it real easy-peasy and I expected to get through it in a few moments. That was not to be. The plastic was too hard. Nail not sharp enough (no way the drill would have worked). Finally my drill runs out of battery which signal end of effort. (The drill battery refill was way overdue IMO, as it seemed to go on long, long time, like 2 years! Mentioning in the interest of objective information)Hmm, what rating can I give it? On one hand, it didn't work with the (replacement) cartridge for my Canon Mx492 printer so should I take away stars for that? Probably not, as no one knew it would turn out like that. OTOH if they knew from experience, they should mention it and give us the caveatI sat on this project for too long to be eligible for a return so now it will be sitting on my shelf unemployed. Let me know if you would like to buy it off me. If you are in Norcal I can probably deliver it to your place

I followed the instructions but I have hard times to refill the ink cartridges. It seems that most of the ink comes out. It is even hard on the color one.... it is almost missing one of the colors for some reason. Will try other options... at least they come with large bottles....

The process of putting ink the cartridges was easy to do as long as your patient and not brute force anything. But OPEN YOUR BOX WHEN IT ARRIVES! I left my box for a couple days and didn't realize one of the ink bottles was leaking everywhere. It didn't bleed through the box thankfully but I was surprised when I opened it. I find it hilarious now cause it looks like a horror scene. Clean up was easy, I used Clorox wipes, but make sure to wear gloves. I got ink my hands for days haha

This is a good product, but wear gloves...and lay down a towel that you don’t care about, cause this ink squirts when opened.

So this kit wasn't the easiest to use, but it did the trick at least temporarily. For the price, if you are a patient person, it's worth it. It's a hot mess, and it takes some messing with to get it right, but in the end, I have ink and I am able to print.

Where has this been all my life, I have Cannon Pixma mx490 and I use 245xl and 246xl they’re about 50-60$ for both black and color, super expensive I didn’t know this was refillable until I researched and order this. I’ve used 3ml syringes of black and then 3ml each color and that was enough. It fill start to overflow when it’s enough. This works amazing it’s plenty of product for such a great prices. I would definitely recommend this and will buy again. I’m so grateful for this product since I print a lot of stuff on a daily basis.

Easy to follow instructions but had to use a drill gun. No way that little tiny screw was cutting through hard plastic. Great value and worked perfectly. Color isn’t as bright as the ink that came with my printer but it’s not to bad

Fantastic. The drill it comes with sucks but I got the job done. 3 squirts for colour and 7 for black if they are all empty. 😊. Happy printing
