Perfect for a Leica D Lux 7
Fits perfectly, the finish is on a par with other OEM Leica hoods at a fraction of the cost. Ideal for times when shooting in sunlight, decreasing lens flare etc. simple to remove when not wanted. Came with a cap and a (nice quality) cleaning cloth. Frankly itβs a bargain and was delivered inside 24 hours. Fantastic.

Neat
I lost the 37mm lens cover for my lens and was surprised at the cost of a pukka lumix replacement. Saw this and decided to try it. It's real metal and adds a little functionality. The cover for it fits and being a bit larger might not get lost...

Causes a vignette circle at 16mm focal length! The New wide angle version is fantastic!
The item is well built you get a nice cleaning cloth which is a nice touch, and a lens cap which is great, and I do appreciate when companys give you extra accesories. I screwed the hood on to the 40.5 lens thread but on a sony 16-50 lens on the sony a6000 you get a complete vignette circle on 16mm focal length with the hood on. It's not till you zoom the lens in to past 21mm the circle disappears which is not any good to me unfortunately the hood may be just a little to deep so I've sent the item back and ordered another version which doesn't look as deep as this one hoping I dont get a circle on my images. Hope you all found the review helpful :)**Update** the company reached out to me after this review which says amazing things about the company. They sent me another version of this lens hood! It turns out they have a wide angle version! Which they did send me free of charge and the wide angle version is fantastic and does not cause the dark vignette circle on a apsc size sensor at 16mm so it's now perfect! You also get a nice lens cleaning cloth and a lens cap that clips onto to the lens hood which i very much appreciate. New pictures added to the gallery so you can see the new wide angle version! this company goes along way to keep its customers happy so A+++ to the company and a 5* product! thank you so much for sending me the new version :)

Better than expected
I have to admit that when I saw the price I was a little sceptical but as soon as it arrived and I unpacked it I was reassured.Itβs actually surprisingly good.Solid metal and it attaches nicely. It does its job well and I like that the lens cap attaches straight to the end which means the hood can remain attached indefinitely.Great little bit of kit.

Should be fine.
The quality seems fair for the price. Fits perfectly on my vintage Minolta lens. Can't comment on performance since I haven't shot a roll with it on but should work fine :)

QC can improve and be aware of softness in corners with bright lenses of f1.4 or brighter
I bought this lens hood for my SMC PENTAX-A* f1.4 85mm (after 32 years still in excellent condition and a top quality lens) because the original lens hood is very hard to find these days. When trying to screw on the new lens hood very carefully, I only managed to turn it on my lens for less than a centimeter and it already got stuck. Retrying very carefull gave the same result, no matter what. The inside of the paint wasn't very nice too. There were 3 places where the black paint was already damaged when I openend the package. The biggest problem is when using the hood on my 85mm lens. It causes a kind of white softness to the corners of the image because it is not wide enough for lenses with wide apertures like my f1.4. Also the black paint is not matt enough, compaired to other paints used inside lens hoods or lenses themselve. That causes the light to reflect pretty well to the inside of the lens and cause the softness around all corners at wide open apertures. The web page states that it is suitable for 85mm to 300mm, but be aware that expensive 85mm lenses with wide apertures of f1.4 will produce softness because the hood is just a little bit too small for these apertures. As soon as I close the aperture to f4 and higher, the softness start to bedome less visible. Removing the lens hood causes the softness to vanish completely. So for me this was not worth the buy, unfortunately. There is a tissue for cleaning the lens and that is the only thing I will use. One try to screw on the lens hood that little bit, already scratched the paint inside my expensive lens away and that is not what I was looking for.The lens cap is pretty cheap plastic, but it does the job well, so for those than can use this lens hood it will be a good thing that it is included.
