Cutting 5mm steel roofing panels

Been using this blade with a makita 36v saw to cut corrugated steel sheets for cladding a building. It works extremely well. Cutting the steel cleanly and with minimal sparks. Using wooden planks quick clamped onto both sides of the steel to act as a guide and also to keep the steel flat whilst cutting. Doesnt seem to baulk at thicerw material. Started going through my metal saw horse like butter when I got a bit too close! Price wise its very good too.

Let's be clear this is a cheap blade - so bear that in mind if you're planning on cutting a lot of metal. I bought it for cutting 0.7mm PVC coated box profile sheets and I didn't want to use a disc cutter (melts the plastic coating) or spend a fortune on a blade, as I only had a few cuts to do. The cut on this (for the 4 or 5 cuts I've had to do so far ) is excellent. Barely distinguishable from the machine cut ends on the sheets from the manufacturer. Now of course a lot of that is down to the excellent skills of the user (:cough:) but it's also down to the blade. Great value - did the job. I can't say how long it will last but it didn't lose any teeth and looks like it will go for a while longer yet.

Managed about a 50cm cut in 0.7mm steel before the adapter disk stopped gripping the blade meaning it just freewheels. Very disappointing.

I don't often have to cut metal like this so I didn't want to invest in a proper chop saw. Thought I'd give this blade a go even when its RPM rating is lower than what my circular saw does (5500rpm). I only had one aluminium door sill and a few mild steel profiles and trims to cut. Did the job perfectly with very little sparking. Didn't ruin the paint on the parts either. Can't say much about its longevity but it feels like I could do quite a few similar cuts without any trouble.

It's very good blade amazing clean cuts on 3mm angle I can't wait to see how long it lasts.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this blade to rip some 3mm metal sheets Into 240mm rips I managed to make one cut 2.5 meters it went dull and I noticed the teeth where falling missing I’m not happy at all wasted my money yet again I do wanted this company which was advertised small business to be the one I went too for consumables such as this

Ho montato questa lama in una sega da banco per legno con albero da 16 mm impiegando l'anello di riduzione presente nella confezione, che si è incastrato bene nel foro senza alcun problema.Ho poi tagliato una lamiera di alluminio spessa 1,5 mm appoggiandomi lateralmente alla guida del banco-sega e mi è sembrato di lavorare con un panetto di burro per quanto è stata facile e veloce l'operazione!

Ich habe mit dem blatt Mittlerweile rund 100 LfM Aluminium winkel in 40x70 mal 3 mm Gesägt als auch Verschiedene Riffelblech Tafeln 4-mm und Stahl Sandwich platten 49mm.Bisher gibt es keine Ermüdungserscheinungen was für den Preisbereich nicht Selbstverständlich ist,ich habe dass Blatt auf einer Kappsäge und handkreissäge abwechselnd Montiert.ich kann es Empfehlen.
