Here also is Scott McKenzie with "San Francisco", plus Jefferson Airplane, the Supremes, Lynyrd Skynrd and many more. Awesome soundtrack
Can't go wrong with this forrest gump soundtrack album. They contain one of a kind classics to the movie. A must own soundtrack album for sure.

Best Soundtrack Ever!
I'm a super huge fan of this movie. That being said, past albums only had a small selection of songs from the movie so I didn't buy them. This one, however, has every song that is in the movie so, if you like the movie and/or the music, it's a must buy.

Eclectic and evocative tracks……..
……recently watched the film again……appreciated the subtleties this time much more than before. The soundtrack time and place, songs chosen for the periods in Forest’s life and those around him in that same period.The listing is completed with the composer’s overall theme.Brilliant.

Some classics but some fillers
Having caught Forrest Gump on telly recently, I loved hearing the music again and decided to buy the album.There are some real classics from the 60s and 70s but I hadn't appreciated how many less well-known(and Iin my opinion 'less good') songs were on the album. I do find myself fast forwarding through certain songs if I'm honest.A good buy overall but not the absolute classic I was expecting. Look at the song list carefully before deciding whether it's for you.

watched the movie and loved all the songs that were played throughout so brought the soundtrack - they are all known songs so you can have a sing along

The CD arrived on time.in excellent condition.I have only played it once but it is full of songs i am familiar with.I bought it simply for some songs I have always liked but never owned,now i do,so am happy with it.

Fabulous playlist!
What a fantastic soundtrack!! So many hits!! Timeless classic, i'm only young and in my mid 20's and I love nearly every track on this CD, its fantastic! and a really great homage to the movie!
