Gump & Co.

I bought this to replace one I loaned out and it was never returned.I was telling my grandson about the follow up to the movie he loves to watch.

Good fortune. The Chinese god for this is Lucre or similar. Could be a source of our words luck & lucre (money). The feather blows in the wind & lands at random.If stupid is as stupid does then Gumo was far from stupid.As for life being like a box of chocolates, well, you do know what your going to get - sick.

The character is tremendous. Any Forrest fan will be happy.

A worthy and thoroughly entertaining continuation of Forrest's story. The main character, Forrest Gump, in this volume and the original book, are not to be confused with the Gump character of film fame. This one is muscular, not such a deep thinker, and much funnier. If you read my review of Forrest Gump, the first book, you will get the whole picture. I'm not really inclined to repeat it all here. When you have read the first book, you will want this one.... so you may as well order them both.

Terrible book over all. Hard to read, time line is off. Print of the pages is low grade. Wish I had not purchased....

The book is an easy read, it continues from the movie Forest Gump. The book keeps your mind going to see what happen next.Just when you think you know the rest of the story, it comes in with another twist. This is a great read. Can't put the book down.

I don't read too many books but forest gump is my favorite movie and I had heard rumors there was a second book so finally I found it on here. And it would make a great movie if they could actually make it after all this time. It doesn't actually go with the movie but you will still know whats going on if you have seen the movie or read the first book (never read it). But it was a great book and I don't read too much.

Some of the things he gets into are funny, but the author has his way of speaking totally off, Forrest did not curse, Jenny was already dead and little Forest was already living with his dad. Still reading. Book is in excellent condition and received it quickly.

Oh my goodness, I read Forrest Gump for the first time before reading this book and loved it, I have never seen the film, just the bits everyone knows and I'm so glad I read the books first. This would make an excellent sequel. It's funny and charming and just completely Forrest! The way Mr Groom has Forrest bumping into old friends and enemies all over the world is funny and heart warming at times. If you've only seen the film, you have to read both books as they are absolutely brilliant. Two of the best books I have read in a very long time.

While sold as a "Clean, undamaged book with no damage to pages and minimal wear to the cover", this book came with a large sticker on the cover as well as dirty sticky residue from another sticker previously being removed.

Written after the film and is a follow on. Story is good, but not as good as the original.

The book is a sequel to the the first book with lots of funny little adventures and mishaps, Forrest certainly gets himself about, another great read with lots of laughs.......Honest John - honest as usual!

The book follows directly from the last and even makes references to the movies. Its entertaining and we see a lot of the characters from the previous book. The focus is on Forrest's relationship with his son which is interesting but overall it is not as good as the first book
