Garbage! The adhesive is bright white (as others have stated), but I did not fully appreciate this until it was on my black Jeep. The adhesive sticks out further than the emblem! Luckily I had already removed the stock emblem...... Jeepers please don't waste your money here, spend the extra couple of bucks on an authentic emblem. Just look at the picture!

CAUTION! Bought these thinking they were direct replacements for the emblem on the front of my '14 Wrangler - They are not!My fault because I didn't read closely enough. These are for the Cherokee and the font style and size is off from the Wrangler style. Not a big deal but if you want exact replacements copy and paste this in the Amazon search box: JEEP WRANGLER ALTITUDE GRAND CHEROKEE BLACK "JEEP" EMBLEM 68185492AA These are the ones that match. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that these are plastic and the others I noted above are metal.

I absolutely love how this looks on my grill. For looks alone, this would get 5 stars. HOWEVER, (refer to pictures below) for some reason i assumed that these were rubber and would have adhesive that applied to the car. These are actually metal, and come with WHITE 3m on the back. This made for a lackluster white outline around the black letters. Took me about an hour to cut the 3m pieces so that no white showed around the letters, however i fear this negatively affected how long these will be able to stay on my grill before falling off. The only way I would give these 5 stars is if I was putting them on a WHITE jeep, then I wouldn't have had to mess with the 3m tape.

That awful, WHITE, spongy glue foam sticks out a lot behind the letters!!!! Looked like crap - had to peel it off, tried to cut the sponge down so it wouldn't show, had to just take it all off and will silicone it flat in place.

The adhesive around these show and the letters are not solid, they're hollow. I tried to push the adhesive into the backs of them to avoid edges from showing but then there were barely any adhesion points. Thank god the foam adhesive was easy to get off. Was excited at first but have to order elsewhere instead.

The quality of the pieces is quite good, I did not care for the adhesive - for one thing it is white and would have shown behind the letters once mounted on the vehicle, and another problem is that the rear of the letters is hollowed out, so the adhesive pads do not have a lot of surface area to adhere to. I removed the adhesive tape that came with the letters, filled the back with epoxy and then used new, black 3M adhesive tape to mount them. Quite a bit of work, but looks much better.

Works great but the tap is white and stands out like a sore thumb, if your jeep is white no prob.. any other color it might just bug the crap out of you... I'm hoping it will fade or get dirty and not look so obvious.OH and you have 1 in front 1 in back .. buy 4... trust me..

Well made for a non OEM-Mopar product. Purchased these for a 2015 Jeep Patriot and worked great minus the slight curve on front. Purchased again for a 2018 Renegade but Jeep letters are much to small compared to the ones on it now. Still made well, and sticks great!
