I am a kitchen table painter, and need to organize things so when clean up time comes it’s not an endless chore. This allows me access to the solvents I need in a handy, small container that doesn’t take up much room.

This item is advertised as leak proof. It is not. I used it to store ink for my art work and it leaked. Luckily it was wrapped in a plastic bag and did not cause damage. I am returning it.

They are not spills proof!

I use these for oil painting to hold linseed oil, one side for cleaning the brush and the other for holding clean oil to thin the paint. I find the two cups together like that to be really convenient. I am able to carefully clean out the dirty size, while keeping the other sealed, and the water doesn’t contaminate the clean oil.I have never seen this leak. I only fill both cups about half-way, but that’s pretty typical. These are fairly large, so that’s all I ever need. I haven’t had any problems. The lids stay on tightly. I dropped the entire thing once, and thought I was going to have a disaster, but both lids held, no leaking, no mess.It clips tightly onto the palate that is attached to the easel. The few times I had to transfer it to a wooden palate, it clipped to that as well. It’s hard to get it onto a larger palate, but once it’s there, it stays there.For acrylic, I think I would like something a little larger, one side for a small amount of a medium like gak and the other for water. For oil, this is perfect.

The two containers allow two mediums or a medium and a solvent to be attached to your pallet; saves a lot of time mixing and painting.

Aside from the edges of the clip being a little sharp, easy fix, its exactly what i needed.

I bought these to use with my plein air, watercolor, travel kit. The lids on these little cups are sealed with rubber to prevent spillage. They clip nicely onto my planner watercolour book. I love having the two pots so I can have clean water and paint water. The cups are very sturdy and the lids. Screw on tightly. This is a quality product. I would highly recommend.
