For those who are thinking of going into the Christmas Trees business or doing it for pleasure, this is a very informative book, easy to understand and visualize. The 178 plus pages go really fast, I read the book in two days and now I'm keeping it as a reference. Lot's of good knowledge gathered from different professionals in the Christmas Trees business. The book goes from "Selecting Land" and "Species to Grow" to "Going to Market", and "Profit and Taxes". The progression of this book makes for an easy understandable read and guides you from start to finish.

Detailed selection of trees and the care and planting involved with each type, also the types of terrain and soil conditions needed.

A well written book that gives a better understanding of the business and the process to be successful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it's greatly appreciated.

This book is a solid reference and a must have for those who plan on embarking on the road to becoming a Christmas Tree farmer. Well laid out and clear. Regardless of the topic, all relevant even today.

This book is it appears, aimed at the American Market so I would assume that most books about the growing of christmas tree's since it seems mostly this whether it be a hobby or a business is where christmas trees are grown mostly America and Canada.But this book is informative and a good way ,of learning about this pastime /business whichever way you want to do it everything from from choosing the land ,planting etc whether you could purchase seed from nurseries in the UK ,I can only guess at present but Christmas Tree should be available somewhere.My own interest is because I volunteer at a local farm and I have been uncovering a nmber of christmas trees and I wanted to learn more about them and this book has been very enlightning, and interesting to read.
