Nutro Limited Ingredient Diet Adult Dry Dog Food, Venison Meal & Sweet Potato Recipe, 22 lbs.

I gave this product 5 stars for flavor only because this is the only food my dog is NOT allergic to!! I have no idea on how it tastes! (Haha) My dog is allergic to chicken and red dye. The thing about chicken, almost every label is able to tell you if chicken is present. What no one tells you about red dye, is if its less then 2% (or maybe its 4%, I can never remember) companies dont have to put it on the food label. Rachel Ray-which is the brand we tried before this is how we found this out! Our poor pooch was suffering even more because red dye was not listed on the label!! I can honestly say Nutro limited ingredient does NOT have red dye or chicken in it!! As our pup is back to feeling better! No ear aches or itchy paws!! Its slightly expensive. But so are the vet bills from buying cheaper food with a less than honest label. I love the convenience of having it delivered as I always forget to buy it when my husband is in the car with me!!! Update. Our dog had a heart attack and died, 03-26-21, he was a healthy 11 y.o. bulldog, 11 y.o. is old for a bulldog yes, but he was vet check healthy.during the grieving process, I found medical research from the FDA that grain free food causes canine cardiomyopathy!!! Please be aware of this!! The research is fairly new! (2018 started the research of it) and because some breeds, aka bulldogs, have health problems to begin with, the canine cardiomyopathy is not diagnosed from the grain free food!!!

I two Belgian Malinois. One has an allergy to chicken. This food checks all boxes for both dogs. When we got our male, he was thin, his coat was lacking that beautiful shine, and his fur felt awful, corse and rough. Since we've switched him from Merrick Salmon dog food, ( he was fed this prior by the previous owner ) to this, he has gained healthy weight, he coat is super shiny, and feels like a teddy bear. My female, also has a beautiful shiny coat and does well on this food and brand as well, and she's been on Nutro since we got her at 12 weeks. I have always, always fed all my dogs this brand of food, and it's amazing the variety of flavors, and different dietary requirements. Especially having a dog with a chicken allergy-because it's in just about almost everything from dog food to treats. Highly recommend!

I tried this dog food after my vet told me that my dog was probably allergic to the beef food I was feeding him. He had developed a severe rash all over his body. She told me venison and bison are the least allergenic foods for dogs. After only one week on this food and some supplements his skin started to clear up. Now, after a month. his skin and coat have completely cleared up and he is just as beautiful as he was before. I highly recommend this food, especially if you are dealing with some kind of allergy. I used this food in conjunction with Missing Link supplement, a probiotic, and salmon oil. It worked wonders.

My Blue American Bully has skin allergies, We have gone thru soooo many grain free dry dog foods!! This one is the one, He loves it, just wished it came in larger bite sizes, he inhales it & will chock on the little bites. But no more allergy pills 🐶💙

My Golden has food allergies and will break out into a rash if he eats anything that contains chicken, eggs, etc. Is amazing how many dog food/treats contain poultry bi-products. Vet recommended Nutro and he has been on it for years, he loves the flavor and gets quite excited as "the scoop" is brought to his bowl. Little more expensive than other brands but well worth it (hint: use Amazon subscribe and save to bring the price down)

Our 3 dogs eat this. One has a sensitive stomach and the other two have skin conditions the don’t bother them on this food. They don’t itch as much so they (and I) are much happier.

Order delivered on time and was exact product I ordered. Pet food was used for pets.

Bite sized, limited ingredients and a brand my stubborn allergy prone frenchie usually loves but this flavor was not a winner for us. Not the products fault just should have got a smaller bag
