KEEN Men's Rialto Ii Sandal

14-JUNE-2016I just got these today and I am in love with them already. My old KEEN's needed to be replaced and I was extremely glad to see KEEN had a sandal that was built in the USA. I am sure most of the components are sourced from overseas, but I'll take what I can get.Initial QualityOut of the box these sandals appear very well put together. The stitching is uniform and no loose flyers. The quality of the mold on the rubber is very good, no flashing and textures look great. The materials all feel like top quality. I really like the darker color of the leather. The "American Built" tag on the lace up area is a nice touch.FitThese fit exactly like all other KEENs. Although, the velcro adjustable back strap allows for a custom fit.Interesting FeaturesAdjustable Heel Strap - Great feature that allows helps to make sure your sandals stay nice and secure on your feet. This is an improvement over the elastic heel strap found on other models. I am sure this will come in handy.Removable Anatomical Footbed - This footbed is amazing. It is covered with microfiber which feels great on the skin. It has a nice arch support as well. It is securely attached to the sole with a long strip of velcro. When you feel the need to give it a wash, just peel it out. Excellent.Once I get a few miles on these sandals, I'll update my review. Very impressed so far.

As others have noted, these sandals run small. I normally wear a 9, occasionally a 9 1/2. I ordered the 9 1/2 and they were tight, so I returned them and got them in 10 and they now fit great. I've NEVER worn a 10! You will need at least a 1/2 size larger, maybe even a full size.These are definitely the nicest and most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. The exterior has soft, leather straps while the lower part is a durable looking rubber with pretty aggressive traction on the bottom. The toe shield is fairly subtle, which lends to an overall sleek and stylish look. The interior has a foam, arch-support pad that is quite comfortable, and the fit can be adjusted via the drawstring, elastic laces and the leather, velcro heel strap.I don't know how they'll hold up, but I'm extremely impressed so far.

I got these 8 years ago, and wore them pretty often. In many places. Some a little rough. Many wet and weathery. And just now a small part on one buckle has worn to the point it makes a blister and hurts a bit. That’s Very reasonable. Nothing actually broke in all those miles.I imagine I won’t order another pair for 8 more years after this new pair.Thanks for such a great and health contributing product!

Love. Them.What I like about these KEEN shoes is the toe hasn't got the big safety cap on it at the front. Makes it a little more 'fashionable'. It breathes well, and the arch support is really comfy.I also enjoy the velcro strap on the back allowing easier slip on and off, and adjustable for comfort fit.It's going to be put through it's paces as I take it on more and more hikes... My review may change if wear and tear happens to early ;)UPDATE: I took these throughout Hawaii for three days. We did a big hike yesterday. It was only 4 miles, through mud (it had been raining) to end at a waterfall. They held together amazingly. even caked in mud (i tried to avoid stepping in it) my feet didn't get dirty, and the grip wasn't hugely effected.The end of the hike required a walk through a stream. Everyone else in the party took their shoes off, but I just walked right on through ;) Water grip was ok. Shoes stayed damp for maybe an hourish afterwards, but the inside was fine after 10-15mins. I'd feel safe submersing them again.

The Rialto 2’s are very comfortable. I ordered a regular pair of Rialto’s 5-6 years ago and loved them so much that I recently ordered another pair. They felt very comfortable right out of the box. I normally order size 11 and these Rialto’s fit perfectly in size 11. The back Velcro strap stays very secure and feels good. The only complaint is that Keen doesn’t offer replacements for the removable footbeds. The sandals will stay looking good for a long time, but it would be nice to replace the footbeds when needed. Overall, these are the most comfortable sandals made by Keen and they are assembled in America. Kudos Keen!

I usually don't like Keen sandals because of the sole they use with the bumps sticking up that never seem to align with my toes correctly no matter what size I get. These have a flatter foot bed. I usually wear a size 7.5 or 8 wide in casual or athletic shoes. These run large and wide, and I was surprised that I had to go down to a size 7. They seem really comfy and supportive, and they have more of a shoe-like fit. I'm waiting for the weather to get warmer so that I can test them properly, but they seem sturdy and supportive.

This is the second pair of this version of the Keen sandal, I have purchased. It is functional, comfortable, and durable. A great buy, and a great sandal.

Direi ottima qualità, peraltro ad un prezzo adeguato (92 euro). Aspetto robusto, comodissimi e ben ammortizzati, una volta regolata la stringa posteriore non è necessario aprirla ogni volta che si indossa (basta un calzascarpe). Discretamente ventilati, forse una maggiore areazione nella porzione anteriore sarebbe stata ideale. Abitualmente porto 42,5 e tale misura mi sta perfetta.

For the last 10+ years I have bought nothing but Keen footwear! I have been very satisfied but the Rialtos are a step up from the regular line. Well worth the extra price!

Best sandal yet. I need the toe protection. Used to buy similar Merrell product but the quality and comfort of that sandal declined.The heel velcro could have as bit more tightening capability/range, ie more velcro on the tightening side. But still a great sandal.

Bueno, pese a mis más y mis menos con el LAMENTABLE servicio de DHL España, por fin las tengo.Las Keen Rialto son un producto de altisima calidad. El tacto es de producto bueno, fabricado para durar, y agradable visualmente.Respecto a la talla suelo usar una 42.5 y 43 en zapatos y zapatillas, y un 44 en marcas como Salomon que son estrechos. No obstante Keen talla bien, hay que tener que cuenta que normalmente son para usar sin calcetines...tu pie abulta lo mínimo, a mí me vienen bien las 42.5.Respecto al uso, pues no las he sacado a senderos, playa, rocas, que es donde voy a darles caña, pero andando por casa llevo toda la tarde con ellas y quedan como un guante, el pie parece muy asentado, y no baila ni lateral ni longitudinalmente. El sistema de cordones es muy práctico y efectivo. La plantilla es supercómoda.En unos meses, cuando pasen por agua, rocas y senderos varios veremos a ver su durabilidad, pero pintan muy muy fuertes...un producto americano, de Porland, Oregón, hechas a conciencia.Estoy muy satisfecho de momento, creo que merece la pena el desembolso, su calidad es muy superior a cualquier sandalia de 30 o 40 euros. A parte de ser un calzado específico, pensado para patear, con suela adaptable, protecciones, y materiales muy firmes.Recomendadas.

These are very good and comfortable sandals. They have taken me on some great long walks through rough terrain.A comfortable fit and have so far lasted well.
