Nitecore P12GTS 1800 Lumen LED Tactical Flashlight with LumenTac Battery Organizer

They're not kidding about the 8A 18650s. This light will work with pretty much any 18650 battery BUT, if you don't use ones capable of sourcing >=8A, Turbo mode will not work. Mine came pre-set in Turbo mode. When I tried to operate it with a "3500mAh" 18650 rated for only 2A discharge current, it just flashed once and shut down. I thought it was defective but, once I charged the battery they sent with it and powered up with that one, it turned on (in turbo) and operated as expected. With the less capable batteries, it would not operate in turbo nor could I get it out of turbo. If it was last set to turbo prior to shipment and you insert a less capable battery, you will probably need a >=8A 18650 to get it into a mode that will allow you to use the non-turbo intensities with a less capable battery.
