On my second pair
Loved them so much I bought a second pair. The first lot had had there day.I use these for the gym. Stays firmly in the ear, excludes all that nonsense noise at the gym, the grunting, the panting, the awful conversations. You won’t hear a thing with these in. Pure bliss.(Also suitable for the train, work, beach)

Amazing, but not perfect
So I decided to upgrade to the Tarah from the Jaybird Freedom Special Edition which got destroyed in the dryer ...Pros:Fit - Perfect - Very soft 2 in 1 earbuds + wingtips which just stay in your ear. I was skeptical about the 2 in 1 wing + bud, but they fit my ears and isolate really good. Best fit i had on BT headphones.Sound - Perfect - They are loud and the bass is really good. The EQ from the app helps a lot for fine tuning.Cons:What I really miss about these headphones is the over-ear fit which prevents the cable drag when moving your head. If you wear these loosely to prevent the cable drag the headphones cable tends to move over to the right since the controls are on that side. The speed chinch is useful but not very reliable. It fell of 2/2 times while I was trying to move it behind my head. However, I got these on sale and I think they exceed the expectations for the price tag.

Great for everyday and workouts
Was 50/50 reading some reviews but they work well with my iphone and windows laptop. The sound is great, beefy bass if you set the equiliser right and use the right size in ear plugs which get less comfy after a few hours. Compared to beats the sound is the same but the price isnt! Battery charge depends on how much you crank the volume but then again you’ll need to charge and give your ears a break. I love it.

Battery drains when not being used
I love the JayBird brand and have had a pair of X2's for over 5 years and are still going strong. But recently I've bought a pair of Tarah's and a pair of x4s. The reason for buying the Tarah was because the X4's dies on me after 10 months and wouldn't turn on. So I decided to get Tarah as I didn't want to spend the same again if they didn't last a year.So I've had them for a month now. I use then to run with and have done around 10 one hour runs with them. They fit great, are very secure for running in and sound good (not a good as the X4s). However, the battery has now started to drain when they are switched off. If I fully charge them, put them on my desk and then don't run for 2 days they will be at 60% charge. If left for a week they have zero battery left at all. This had led to a few very quiet runs where I had to put them on charge rather than wearing them.I suspect the introduction of a bespoke charging connection may have introduced battery issues with the more recent JayBird models. The old X2 have a standard USB charger connection which is still working 5 year on. Both the Tarah and X4s have had charging and battery issues and both use a similar bespoke connection.Based on this, my opinion of JayBird's quality has greatly diminished and would be reluctant to recommend them now. Which is a shame as they used to produce high quality products that sound great and last for years. On a positive note their customer services team where very helpful trying to resolve the issue with my X4s and did replace them under a warranty claim.

Average, not worth the price
So, I have had these headphones for a week now and will be returning them. Not worth the price you pay and lots of irritations when using them.Positives: Ear bud is very secure when on the move. I tried these when jogging and had no issues with them falling out. I also quite like the charging dock as there's no need to find a fiddly charging point. You just clip it on and it charges. That's really about as far as I would go for definite positives however. When running in particular, I find the weight of the button control moves the wires around a lot and is quite annoying when not using the inconvenient clips. You can use the small adjuster to stop movement of wires, but I found this makes them much less secure as there's not much flexibility to turn your head. The customisation of headphones offered enough variation for me to find a good fit, although it is still slightly disappointing you can only customise the outer hook and not the ear piece itself, which many competitors offer at a lower price.Headphone connectivity was also an issue for me. I can always connect to my phone straight away when turning these on, but the signal drops out frequently. This seems to happen a lot and for no reason, and its just annoying. I also find the app unnecessary to connect to every time, and it doesn't offer any benefit as far I can see.Overall sound quality was ok, not amazing but not the worst either. As these headphones are on the more expensive end however, i find it disappointing overall. App customisation does very little to overall sound which you could consider an improvement, and bass is average.Battery life of max 6 hours is pretty poor, especially seeing as this will likely be down to 4/5 hours after a few months of use.

Excellent headphones for running and gym
Excellent headphones. Sound is great and love the equaliser app as you can make a huge difference to how it sounds.Great fit, perfect for me as I sweat a lot and find it difficult to find ones that do stay in.Downside - no case. Battery is what you get across most of this style but would be good to be getting 10hrs + now. Also the charger is unique, better than the Freedom’s I had as it’s let of the cable so will be harder to lose but still not ideal.Still highly recommend.
