Piece by Piece - Standard Edition

too 'pop' for my liking but I do like Kelly Clarkson as a person, just her music is not suited to my ears. i prefer a tad more country than the pop-tendencies her music offers. wish Kelly would produce some more stripped down music as her acoustic performances are fabulous.

Bought the album for the fabulous title track. The rest is pretty good and up to her usual standard. Not been a huge fan over the years but do have a clip,e of her earlier albums. She does have a good voice.

I'm a fan, make no mistake. Her standards on previous albums has been exceptionally high and they are high here too, but not quite as high. There's a few tracks that feel like fillers which is unlike Kelly, but that could just be because I expect so much from a KC album. Fans will like this, it is good, and the deluxe version is worth getting for the extra tracks, in particular "in the blue" is a typical KC ballad which hits the emotional spot. The album overall is a more electronic affair than some of her others but still manages to sound fresh and like the songs have been written rather than put together like a lot of chart pap. Well worth a purchase.

Kelly has yet again come up with something different from her previous albums. Piece by Piece is "produced" and more sophisticated. Above all though it's all about that incredible voice which just gets better and better. The album scores highly on the lyrics, melodies and energy. This album has a very happy, "sunny" vibe. Probably the weakest track is the first single. The rest of the album is fabulous, one of those where the tracks stand up on their own as all being potential singles. You will never tire of playing this record, after a couple of hearings you will be hooked. Kelly Clarkson is special and deserves far greater recognition.

Fantastic album and the title track is just wonderful! I love the song so much that I have downloaded the live American Idol version too as it's so beautifully emotional!
