Nicely machined shocks that should perform really well after some initial tuning
These shocks are really nicely made, and look amazing. The springs are stiff, and should support any heavy 1/8 scale truck, buggy, or truggy. With that said, though, they're too long for my Arrma Typhon. The rear shocks on my Typhon are not quite 120mm, and these are over 130mm in length. So, I'll be looking for the right model to put them on so that I can get the proper use out of them. Also, the listing shows them as being pre-filled with oil. Mine were not. They arrived empty, so I'll have to find an appropriate weight oil to fill them with for the vehicle I put them on. Even with those two things, these shocks are still very well made and worth the money if you need something this length. As with most parts I purchase, I go through them and take them apart and tighten everything properly before putting them on a model. These did have loose lower ball ends on at least two of the shocks, so it's always a good idea to make sure you verify everything before installation. At this price, you're getting a good set of 1/8th scale shocks that should perform well once they're tuned and on the vehicle.

Decent shock option for Kraton 6s
First off, the ad was confusing. I thought I was getting shocks for a Typhon 6s. Instead, I got Kraton shocks. I donโt own a Kraton, so I canโt properly test these. Anywayโฆ The shocks appear to be well machined. I didnโt find any burrs or blemishes. They are all aluminum. The caps have bladders. The bodies have the right amount of O rings and spacers. I really like that the shock piston is rounded on the edge and smooth. I wasnโt expecting that level of attention to detail. The shock shafts are nice and thick at 5mm. The springs seem a bit too stiff, but itโs hard to tell in hand versus on a rig. The wire diameter is the right size. The set did not come with any O rings to secure the pivot balls. I had to use my own. The aluminum rod ends need to be thread locked on to the shaft. They seemed very loose out of the bag. Overall, they seemed like a well-made set of shocks. They feel smooth and slightly stiff. They seem like a good budget option for the 6s Kraton.

These do not include shock oil or match the measurements in the description.
These shocks very well machined and appear to be decent quality. The shafts are large, well polished and appear to be scratch free. With the springs removed they slide smoothly within the body. The eyelet is not loctited to the shock shaft and not even on there very tightly. This will need to be addressed before use. There is really not a whole lot to fault the shocks themselves on. The springs are very stiff. Probably at least twice as stiff as stock. I think I would give the shock and spring combo four stars. These lose Stars into places. Value and description. To start with the written description and the pictures do not contain the same information. In this case, I normally refer to the written description as I think most people do. With these the information in the picture is closer but neither is correct. First off these do not include shock oil. The pictures say they don't, even if not in the most straightforward way. The written description says they do. Next issue is length. I get 115mm center of eye to center of eye for the front and 135mm for the rear. 5 mm different than the written description on both. The front measurement matches the picture measurement the rear is 2 mm off. To me if you can't take the time to fact check your ad, you're not taking the time to make sure you're producing a consistent and quality product. Being that I have bought other shocks that match their description and included oil in them for the same price, that were at least as good of quality, I would have to say these are not a good value.

Great upgrade
These Rc shocks are great they donโt come with extra screws but you can reuse the stock ones I havenโt installed them yet Iโm getting a project together but they seem like they will be a perfect fit they are oiled filled front and rear the black on silver look really good there built out of a good material and seem like they will hold up overall I think these will be perfect and for the money itโs a good upgrade

Good quality replacements
Good quality aftermarket shocks, look nearly identical to the stock Arrma ones and fit just the same. I've bent the shafts on the stock ones and bent them back so many times, they eventually snapped and the local place was out of stock so I figured I'd get these to "get by with" until I could get some OEM ones, but these are surprisingly good quality and I'm just going to run them. No leaks, no burrs on the threads, they work well, fit right, and I like the silver look compared to the stock red ones,. Good deal for replacements.

Good Fit for Fireteam
These big bore alloy shocks are a good fit for the Arrma Fireteam. The listing measurements are slightly off by about 5โ10mm. Measured lengths: Fronts โข Full length: 127mm โข Eye to eye: 117mm Rears โข Full length: 145mm โข Eye to eye: 135mm The shocks are full alloy with beefy 5mm shafts. The springs feel very similar to stock Arrma springs in stiffness. Iโm not a fan of the lower pivot balls that use brass retaining collars. In my experience those collars can vibrate loose, especially on bashers. They come completely dry. No oil inside, and the o-rings were dry as well. I took them apart to inspect before filling and found metal shavings and small pieces of plastic debris left over from manufacturing inside all the shocks and around the o-rings and spacers. I also had to ream the shock pistons because the holes were clogged with leftover plastic shreds. Plan on fully disassembling, cleaning everything out, and properly lubricating the o-rings before filling them. Also use thread lock on the end link threads, or they will loosen up. The shocks themselves look really good, but quality control needs improvement.

Needs work
The point of adjustable shocks is that you can adjust the ride of the RC they are mounted in. These are not those. The nut for adjusting the spring rate is so tight the shock has to be removed from the RC so you can fully grab onto the nut and turn it. The ball cup for the top of the shock is not captured by the shock top, so make sure to use a larger than average screw or have a washer handy. Other than that, these do look good. They seem very sturdy. I haven't had any oil leak out so the seals seem to be quality. So if you are ever going to use the adjustable nut, for the money, go with something else.

Massive Shocks Upgrade - Built like tanks! Warning: You'll need to get shock oil!
These shocks are massive! They came packaged decent, in a padded envelope, no fancy box (keeps the price low?), in plastic. It's titled on the bag it's for an Arrma Krakon but they fit my typhon fine. They came without shock oil, which was expected but the description says they come filled. They do NOT come filled.. I went to my local hobby store and got some 40wt. I put them on the car and wow what a difference. There is no possibility of this thing bottoming out now. The car is smoother, although I think the springs are a little stiff, it wheelies a ton now, even after reducing the tension all the way up. I like the wheelies but some may not. I'm assuming if for a kraton, it wouldn't wheelie as the shocks are a bit longer than my stock typhons, but the quality of these shocks cannot be beat. I am sure they will outlast the life of my rc car. At 32.99 , i don't think you'll find a better shock than this.
