This product seems to work well on fleas but no reviews on ticks. Is it effective killing those nasty ticks please? Thank you

Personally I've never used it for ticks in the description of the product this is what is said under that question Beaphar FIPROtec Spot On kills fleas and ticks at the time of treatment and continues to kill fleas for up to five weeks and ticks for up to four weeks. If a tick is found, remove using a specific tick removal tool, such as the Beaphar Tick Removal Kit or consult your vet. So I would presume If it does kill them you would still need to remove the dead ticks yourself with a special tool. Hope this has helped. Contact your vet if you are still unsure. What is the % of fipronil in the large pipette?

Each pipettes contains 268mg of Fipronil. It’s not given as a %.

This product has not worked at all my dog still has fleas. Can I put a flea collar on him

If the drops have not worked I do not think a flea collar would either. There are other factors to consider, such as where your dog gets the fleas from, could changing his walks or where he lays outside. there are sprays that your vet can supply for treating the environment he has contact with that could help, more expense but worth the peace of mind I hope. The only reason I do not like flea collars is one of our cats had a severe reaction to one and developed excoriation round her neck as she was obviously allergic to it.For full peace of mind a visit to the vet is always an option for professional advice.
