I love this thermal steamer. My hair has never been in better condition since I started using this product on my hair ever 3 - 4 days. It uses your own wet hair as the source of moisture for the steam.I don't think some of these people that write a bad review on this product understand that it does not produce stream by itself. I like it because it is equivalent to heating towel in microwave over and over again for deep conditioning or hot oil treatments (w/o the over and over, and over again.... part). Just plug-in cap, wait allotted time. Walla!!!!

This is a great idea for use at home, or for mobile hairdressers and those who have limited room in their salon.When I tried it out on myself it heated up quite quickly on full, though I personally found it a bit too hot after 5mins, but I do have short, fine, thinning hair. I switched down to low and it was more comfortable. The complete treatment lasted 20mins and the thermostat didn't activate and switch off in that time.I am pleased with the price and the fact it has a European plug for which I aleady had an adaptor. An identical bonnet (on Amazon) with an U.S. plug would have cost me a lot for an adaptor. I had no problem getting the plug in my adaptor once I had realised you have to 'offer it up to' the holes at a slight angle.It came quickly and well packaged.Update: I have tried it with the pretty shower cap supplied. It is not as well-fitting and drip-proof as the disposable ones I bought. It has very tight fitting elastic; so tight it slips back on the creamy hair product, lets out drips and messes up the inside of the bonnet. That said it could be used as a great shower cap.

This hair steamer really works. I use mobile hairdresser to cut my hair and dye my hair at the same time. This product is really time saving for dyeing my hair and even my hair dresser comment that she would love one for her clients.

This was a real pleasure to work with as it did the job so easuly with great results. All you had to was wet your hair, plug the cable in and put the cap on. It definitely did help to soften and moisturise my hair and was especially really good for my hair as mine was dyed. Definitely recommend

It heat up very quickly, nice warm, very comfortable!I don't need to go to salon to dye my hair! I could do it by myself at home now!
