Abode® Carp Fishing 1 Man Pram-Hood Bivvy

This genuinely is a fantastic bivvy - irrespective of price! Vents front and back, 2 Velcro rod holders, heavy duty groundsheet, door window options - mozzy mesh or clear plastic. I've used mine 4 times now, the last time was last weekend when it howled a gale and rained like the end of days. It barely moved! It takes me literally 10 minutes to put up including the groundsheet which Velcro's inside. If you're on a budget - get one, if you're not on a budget but need a new bivvy - get one, you won't be disappointed.

Would reconmend this bivvy for those who want a good bivvy at a budget price. Overall impresive features compared to the big name makes. Good size

Not the lightest bivvy you can buy, but its worth the money compared to the big names.My advice: Get the one with the winter skin, you will be happier trust me!!Easily set up (timed myself at 4 minutes)Pros: value, looks, build quality, solid groundsheet, easily set up, airflow.Cons: thin material and you need a flat surface to peg front down correctly (not found often on the bank)

Im amazed at the quality of this bivvy,nice thick nylon,all stitching,zips,seams & straps are strong & well made,The poles are nice & sturdy,as are the storm bars,Nice thick,heavy duty ground sheet which is held in place with strong velcro inside,Mesh vent window on the back that zips & velcro's shut (a nice surprise,wasnt expecting it),Front door opens upwards with nice big zip's & has optional mesh,clear plastic or fully enclosed door,This has loads of room for a 1 man bivvy,more like a 1& half man,Looks & feels a lot more expensive than the price i paid,Buy it, you wont be disappointed, i wasnt.Just completed my 1st 48hr session in this bivvy,It was constantly raining heavily and blowing a strong wind,but it didnt bother me at all once inside,100% waterproof and the strong winds didnt phase this bivvy.10 out of 10

Being 65 I needed something easy to put up once I figured it out it was absolutely brilliant can't wait to use it properly on a trip love it

Bad buy I would say haven't even had this a year and it breaking at all pegging point, the plastic on the pole have broken of and losing its waterproof already...

The tension bars didn't keep taught

I found this Bivvy excellent value for money. It was easy to erect and is very sturdy and for a 1 man I found it very spacious. The ground sheet is of excellent quality .
