Can i use it in apple plant ...haveing clay soil

I have used this product but was not able to judge its usefulness due to drought that year. I feel it can be used for any plants and soils.

is in powder foam or crystal? what is mesh size of crystal/powder?

it is in crystal form ( appears like salt ) but doesnt give best the best results.. even i am more intrested in this and prepared in our lab that gives better results than i purchased..
