Works as Intended
I used this small Bearing Puller on my Bosch Table Saw motor, which had a bearing failure after years of tough service. This is quite an adjustable, tough little puller and it did the job. Highly recommended.

Well Made
This did the job for what I needed. I was able to remove two gear bearings from a water pump. Easy to use, and it comes in three different sizes. Worth the money, and I would recommend to a friend!

Not a good puller
This puller seems solid enough but it has several serious problems that make it unusable. The cross screws are not threaded all the way making it useless for smaller bearings. This is easy to fix by substituting shorter or fully threaded screws. The puller does not come with a hardened cup for the jack screw tip to seat in. This alone makes it unusable unless the shaft has a center "dimple" from machining (unlikely). I had to use a cup from a different puller. The jack screw does not turn smoothly. The biggest problem is that the puller arms are not parallel when they are tightened onto the bearing or gear. This is because the LH arm in the picture is tight on the top crossbar and the RH arm is loose and sloppy. See pic. I do not recommend buying this for any purpose. There are better choices.

It is an inexpensive tool, but does the job.
It is an inexpensive tool. It did what I needed it to do, pull a small bearing. Initially one of the screws, used to set jaw width, would not thread all the way in. Swapping them solved that problem. Note the large burr on the hole where the tightening bar goes, in the picture. The burr would not allow full engagement of a socket.

GOOD BEARING PULLER
IT TOOK SOME FIDDLING TO GET THE JAWS TO STAY TIGHT ON THE BEARING, BUT IN THE END IT WORKED AND DID THE JOB. THE BEARING IS NOT ON THERE ANYMORE. LOL

Not as dekicate as I had hoped....
I bought this and other small 2-jaw pullers to remove motor couplers from small vacuum pumps. The couplers are in a recessed pocket with ~5/16" clearance. Poor design, but what to do.Buy pullers like these and grind the jaws to fit. They seem to be forged steel and are very strong. The pusher screw doe NOT have a centering pin-makes life a bit difficult for long pulls.

Removes my 1999 lincoln town car windshield wiper blades easily
I purchased this smaller 2 jaw puller specifically to remove the windshield wipers on my 1999 Lincoln Town Car. It easily fits into places my larger 5" 2 jaw puller is unable to. Having the right tool makes life easy and avoid damage!

Size may not meet expectations.
I ordered this puller to change the bearings on a pump motor. The impeller end requires a puller with a 5.5" reach. This puller is advertised as 6" but is not big enough. It is a well made tool and worked well on the short end but I will have to order a larger one to finish the job. I guess the Chinese don't know how big an inch is.Or maybe Amazon sent the wrong size.
