I had 2 of these helmets and even though I was never rough with them, they both eventually just fell apart. I don't even think it was due to the folding unfolding action. Just the materials used to hold the helmet together seem to harden and become brittle over time. I can't recommend these helmets to anyone in good conscience. When I reported this to Closca, they were completely apathetic and seem to know that this problem exists.

The helmet I received looks “dirty” because it came with stickers on it and if I try to remove, there a possibility to damage the helmet. It took a month to finally get it and in the meantime priced have dropped but seller won’t make adjustments. Otherwise the helmet fits well, but if you care about esthetics, especially when you pay a premium price, you will be dissatisfied.

People ask me where I got it from. I've seen it ages ago and thought if I ever wear a bike helmet then this one because I hate wearing them. But I actually quite like wearing it now, no other helmet would've achieved that! lol But don't bother about the NFC chip (they proudly talk about it on their website). It's kinda useless, nobody's ever gonna use it and their online registration is useless and very confusing. If you ask customer service what the NFC thing is for and how to use it they either don't bother to reply or give you cryptic answers. Otherwise great design, love that it's collapsible and deffo one of the best looking helmets out there!

Unfortunately after a couple of months the mechanism broke and the helmet no longer stays popped open. I haven't been able to return or exchange the item.

Nach ca 6 Monaten Benutzung sind bei mir die vorderen beiden Klammern des Ausklappmechnismuses gebrochen (und ich habe den nicht täglich benutzt). Händler tauscht nicht um. In der Preisklasse ein herbe Enttäuschung.

Wie auch in einer anderen Rezension geschrieben brechen die dünnen Plastikverbindungen. Eine solche Helmkonstruktion scheint bei der Gestaltung der DIN EN 1078 nicht berücksichtigt worden zu sein, anders kann ich mir die positive Prüfung nicht erklären. Ich halte den Helm zwar nicht für lebensgefährlich, aber auch nicht für tauglich bei einem Aufprall wirkungsvoll zu schützen.Preis/Leistung überzeugen definitiv nicht, da bei normaler Nutzung dieser nach einem halben Jahr getauscht werden muss. Schade, vom Konzept her hat mir das Produkt sehr gut gefallen, insbesondere, da mehr Platz im Rucksack war.
