For the most part this is a book of French slang. Most of the slang in it is pretty mild day to day stuff akin to most English slang.If you're interested in the more colorful curse words alluded to in the title you will find that only the last few chapters are dedicated to that.

This book is fantastic. "Dirty French" is full of idioms and colloquial phrases. I can't imagine anything left out. As for the name, out of 20 chapters, only the last two deal with "dirty" topics. The rest deals with idioms and how to use phrases.

Not an overly complex book, it's really fun to look over and read. This was fun to read, i liked it so much i bought the Spanish edition.

This book is so funny , i carry it with my on campus and always have a laugh reading the swears in the back of the book. Even got one of my friends to say something dirty in french without knowing. XD

Good, usefull

This was a wedding gift for a friend. She loves it. NOt only to use with her new spouse, but to say choice french phrases at watering holes. :)

I bought this for a friend!When I received it, I only read the back text cover, there are some spelling mistakes (in French) and then I randomly looked into the book and spotted a few more mistakes! I just hope the rest of the book will be of a better quality!That's a bit disappointing!

I thought I would be getting my friend a silly book with a bit of risqué fun. I was shocked to find it full of homophobic and transphobic phrases. Please stop selling this amazon.

I spent thirteen years studying French and I thought I knew everything about the language. Then I read this book and learntthe aetiology of much slang- 'backwards French'.

Translations in some chapters are "too dirty to translate."But that's why I bought the book!This book isn't for everyone.
