I used to carve a pumpkin every year using various kitchen utensils. Haven't done one since my little one was born, but he's now 3 and half, and we wanted to go all out for Halloween again, and I decided I wanted to invest in some decent tools for the job. I wasn't disappointed with these at all! Great value for money, robust tools, ideal for detail. And also came with templates which would work really well and could be adapted easily. Really happy with this purchase ☺️

Carves skin, thin lines, deep cuts, curves and holes. Perfect.

This is a helpful set of tools. Especially some of the looping tools are useful to do pumpkin carving.No five star as I wished there was a smaller finer knife still. But overall quite good. Generally sharp and sturdy.

I picked this set because it looked sharp and well made, not disappointed. Not meant for kids to use without very close supervision, these tools are definitely not toys and cut pumpkins like a knife through butter. The case is also very well made

I’ve used pumpkin carving tools before that were a waste of money. This set costs a bit more but is well worth the money. Different sizes for main cutting and details. Lovely case to put them in until next year.

I used this carving kit for the first time a week or so ago for Halloween pumpkins. It's clearly not intended for use by children (it has to be signed for by someone over 18 years of age on delivery!), but a careful adult might find it useful for something more inventive than the usual cut-out eyes and mouth.The tools are securely held in a sturdy case, my only criticism of which would be that the zip-pull needs a longer tab as it gets seriously lost within the overhanging fabric, making it awkward to open.The large round, serrated scooping knife was particularly good for cleaning inside the pumpkin, enabling the flesh to be quickly and easily removed, even where it was hard close to the pumpkin's skin.However, I feel that 'Professional' is an overstatement for the quality of the tools. Some are sharp for cutting and others shaped for carving or shaving, but most are simply not sharp enough to work easily without repeated movements. Moreover, many are subject to flexing where the blade meets the plastic shaft - this is very worrying because it would be easy to damage yourself in the event of one of the tools collapsing in use.I was also disappointed with the over-simple carving templates included in the kit. I resorted to finding better ones on the internet (those by The Pumpkin Lady were particularly effective).On balance, this is a kit that's probably difficult to beat at the price, although a 'professional' (if such a thing exists in the pumpkin world) would need to be better equipped with more-substantial tools at higher cost. Providing appropriate care is taken, however, it's suitable for once-a-year use by an unskilled adult.

The tools themselves are great but the stencils are just sheets of printed A4 paper that got bashed up in the post. So I just took out the papers before giving the set as a gift and it was well received

We carved two amazing pumpkins this year will definitely sort this for next year for any kind of detail work in the kitchen. Everything was really well-made with nice comfortable grips and was really sharp, and it comes with a great carrying case.

We bought this in time for Halloween weekend at the campground, and were very pleased at the quality of this carving set. The handles are comfortable and sturdy, and made a tedious task mush easier. The pumpkin turned out great! (we didn't win the contest though)

Ich bin schon seit Jahren jedes Jahr fleißig am schnitzen. Dieses Jahr wollte ich mich an eine 3D Technik heranwagen. Das set hat hierbei hervoragend Funktioniert und mit den kleinen messern konnten wunderbar Details herausgearbeitet werden.Aber auch meine Freunde, die eher Anfänger sind, konnten auch mit den Sägen arbeiten und haben schöne Ergebnisse erzielt.Kann ich für den Preis Empfehlen.
