Front Seat Tilt Handles for Fiesta MK6 2002-2008 - 1 Pair Right and Left Hand - Replaces OE 1417520 1417521

These fit perfectly. Ford (main dealer) wanted £100 for the pair. Buy these instead. These aren't made from cheap plastic or "flimsy" as some reviews would suggest. They are robust and a perfect fit. A solid product. Labelled L and R to save any confusion. Side note. I found fitting them with the seat *forward* worked 1st time. Pull the cable end tab up with some pliers then guide the unit onto the locating post ( L shaped plastic part) and apply pressure to seat it. I also pushed the cable back against the post using my finger to better line it up with the latch mechanism. Now the fun bit. FULLY seat the retaining pins (top and bottom) by applying even foce to the unit - smack it in with your palms until it seats fully. Once it clicks into place, pull the lever once or twice and it should pick up the cable end. Job done. Side note 2: Youtube has vids about getting them out. They are good but on both of mine, a retaining pin had already been broken off by a previous owner. This means they were essentially stuck in place. So...seeing as I was replacing them anyway. I removed the pull lever completely to get better access/view. I used a pair of tin snips and cut the whole housing away. Nothing on the housing need to be kept so cut away gradually *Be careful to not damage the internal post - it's a plastic L shaped bracket that the tilt handle is seated onto and it retains the cable and head. With enough cutting you can get down to the tabs. I managed to release one and cut around the other to. Be careful here. When you get low enough, the broken tabs have a tendancy to want to slip inside the seat. Use long nose pliers, grip the plastic where you can and pull it out. I wasted 10 mins before I decided to cut them out. Located top tab easily enough. If you can't find the other tab, it is because it isn't there anymore. Don't bother looking for it. Start cutting instead.

FITTED WELL BUT SLIGHTLY FLIMSY COMPARED TO ORIGINAL

Was optimistic for the price compared to main dealer, but needed them quickly. The hardest part of the job is getting the old ones out. New ones secured in place and working perfectly 👍🏼

Fitted numerous of these from fords to vehicles and all have been easy to fit. However these items were for my own car and they were not easy to install at all. The lugs that go into the seat where too wide and had to slightly trim them to get to fit. Then the lug that pulls the wire is too short and stubby. When the lug was pulled it didnt have enough grip and the lug would fall out of the plastic. Causing me to have to remove and refit them. Had to remove and refit 2 times in a day. Safe to say they are now in the bin. Do not buy them

These seat catches are excellent value, a bit fiddly to fit, a better option is the catches with the cables as a set, easier to fit.

I love myl pair of Ford seat tilt handles from Euteewal excellent quality parts for a brilliant price would recommend them to all Ford Fiesta drivers.

There is an obvious difference between this and a genuine ford part. This was a simple enough process to remove the broken part (use a competent friend, and 2 screwdrivers) and installing the new part was easy. It just fit right over the mechanism into place. The tilt mechanism is now working like a dream and the seat will tilt forward, the only slight flaw is that the flap stays up when the seat returns to normal position, meaning it doesn't lock. The plastic flap doesn't automatically return like your old genuine ford part did, but that's ok. I've now got the confidence, if it breaks again to remove and replace with the genuine part. For £10 you can't go wrong. Good luck

These are not the easiest thing to fit but we already knew that from watching YouTube videos. We did however manage it and they work well just slightly too big but I guess this is a generic product.

Coli bien emballé. Le dispositif se clispe facilement dans l'armature du siège. Pour ma part le cable était toujours a sa place , il s'agissait simplement de changer la poignée. Le cable s'est directement logé dans l'encoche.

Schnelle Lieferung. Passte leider nicht für unser Modell. Ehrr für Ka plus Der Seilzug wurde geändert. Trotzdem sehr stabil.
