Rosacea 50ml Face Cream

A good UK-made product which is appropriately formulated to address one of the main causes of rosacea, the human demodex mite. I have been applying it to my back every night since I bought it with an immediate soothing effect, and a gradual reduction in itching and discomfort. I chose this product because it contained piroctone olamine, a naturally occurring substance identified in US Patent US 20160287566 A1 as being able to kill the mite. We all have them, from birth apparently, and they are normally harmless and kept in control by the body's immune system, but if there are weaknesses due to temporary stress, some prescription drugs or simply to aging an over-infestation can result. It is the major human ectoparasite, which means it lives in the skin, our body's biggest organ and known to be the cause of blepharitis, rosacea and seborrhoeic dermatitis - unless you are a GP as they have not yet been informed by the specialists in Dermatology. They, my back mites I mean, probably migrated from a very long standing "incurable" scalp dandruff condition.Under the NHS you can now get topical ivermectin drug, Soolantra for rosacea but only if you have the right kind of papular pustules and only for your face; it's a very effective miticide.Incidentally I came across the reference to that US Patent on the Rosacea Support Forum, It is mainly US (including the patent author) but there are a number of UK participants as there is no UK equivalent. There are a number of forums internationally that discuss treatments for demodex especially necessary in the absence of professional medical support.Not cheap for just 50 ml.

Have been using this for a couple of weeks and have seen no noticeable reduction in redness, in fact, the redness seems slightly worse, if anything. Also makes face super shiny when used under make up. A bit gutted as I had high hopes for this product based on comments from another reviewer that this product contained the chemical which kills the mites thought to be responsible for the symptoms of rosacea.Packaging needs to be adapted - far too much product comes out of the tube at a time - at over £15 for a small tube I don't want to waste excess amounts.

I have used this cream over five months now. It has soothed the redness on my cheeks and the tiny veins are slightly less noticeable.I will certainly re-order.

I have suffered with Rosacea for 3 years now & have tried every pill & potion to combat the soreness, redness & pustules i get on my forehead, cheeks & nose to no avail.Then i tried this product! WOW!It has taken approximately 7 days of using twice daily, morning & night to notice a difference, which is great for me because finally i have found a product that works in managing my symptoms of Rosacea, no longer sore, no pustule breakouts & the redness has decreased, not fully gone but has given me more confidence than i had before! I recommend this fully, it may not work for everyone but glad to say it has for me & you don't need to apply a lot to get results! X

bad choice makes me worse

Have been using this cream for a couple of weeks now and there is a definite improvement in my skin. My face looks much calmer, less red and it goes on easily too. Will keep using it for now. Would recommend trying this cream if you have Rosacea like me.

So far so good using this cream. It's been the best product so far to help keep my Rosacea under some sort of control.
